I know I am a bit late on this video. But were you able to declutter or are you still on standby with those decks? :D I have a big issue in giving away my decks. Each time I think about to get rid of a deck because I do not use it, I start to use it again and this happens each time to me. So I am not even a professional reader but looking at my colletion someome could think I am doing 5 readings a day :D

If you want to clear your cards from any smell, place them in a box with coffeebeans for a couple of days. That's what my local thrift store does with all books and other things before they are sold.

I don't have too much time for tarot, so I'm to a few. I don't have that many decks anyway. The autumn decks that I'm going to use are seasons of the witch mabon oracle, John Bauer tarot, ravens prophecy tarot.

I have been watching your videos in a while and I love how you talk about your decks. The funny thing is you and I have different preference, I love rider Waite art style and I don't like pip decks or toth decks and I don't mind the copy rights on my cards haha but there is something about you that just I find so entertaining and you sold me on Morgan's Tarot! I'll definitely buy it whenever I can!

Just the video I was looking for! I've recently noticed how my tarot tastes are changing quite dramatically. I think it's driven in some parts by the buying I have done, decks that I rehomed and probably more than I realised that about my fantasy self. My most recent decks have been either quite gentle, easy on the eye art styles or totally opposite, more unusual styles...that are definitely not my usual aesthetic. I really liked the look of the Twin Flame Ascension Deck. It seems a very powerful deck for healing, personal growth and self-awareness. I felt honoured in your honesty and being vulnerable in sharing your personal thoughts. At 40, after finally leaving a toxic relationship with my son's father, I too chose to stay single for many years and use that energy to heal myself and my son, enjoying activities that made me happy, manifest opportunities for myself and work toward reaching short term and long term goals (including buying and paying off my own home). I dipped back into the dating pool every so often, but ultimately preferred the freedom of being single. I'm 63 now and so glad I invested those years in myself. I wish you well in your expansion journey home to you and to love 🙏

At first I didn’t do anything special, like rituals or anything. I just started looking at the cards and their design, and started using it. However, this has changed lately. I cleanse them with sage or palo santo or a crystal, and read the guide books when I can now but in the meantime I have many…. Next I charge them with my intentions and ask my spirit guides to protect my deck and me (and some other things) Look at the cards, select my shadow and light card, then do a deck interview. If it’s too different from RWS I study them.

I have very similar taste in tarot to you. I just got a copy of the crows magic. Can't wait to get. What I do to air a tarot out. I take the tarot out of box and fan them out in a well ventilated area. You could also try to find like an incense cone you like. Put it in box in a mesh bag next to tarot and close it up. I did that by accident with a sage cone and my deck had a light smell of sage.

I think the Perfect Deck is subject to the individual. There's a perfect deck out there for everyone just as everyone has a soul mate ✨️ Like for me, my perfect deck will have Egyptian, Scorpion 🦂, moon 🌑, dark, notes of royal blue 💙 influences... I feel like I'm currently searching for my perfect deck. I lost my sister 3 months ago and this has been an outlet to pull me out of my darkness, sadness, despear.... I think it's helping me connect to my sister ❤️‍🔥 I miss her so much!

Great video! My advice to you is that you keep the Sea Journey oracle. It’s one of my favorite decks. The way the messages start, ie May you…etc means the author is giving you a blessing which is an incredibly powerful spiritual healing that the deck is offering you. Sometimes I’ll divide the deck by its different backs and choose one card from each pile and it’s a really powerful reading. You may want to give it another chance. One last piece of advice is that I never buy a deck unless I’ve viewed an unboxing on KZbin so I can see all the cards and make sure I can connect with the artwork and a lot of these Tarot tubers now read parts of the Guidebook as well so you can see how the guidebook is before you buy it. This way you won’t be buying decks that you never connect with from the beginning. The other thing is you can buy many of these decks on Amazon so you have 30 days to play with the deck and then return it if you don’t like it which I do constantly. Hope these suggestions help ❤.

lmao when you said "most ugly weird deck" about the quest Tarot I feel it 😂 I recently rediscovered it in my stash (sealed for like 19 years) I bought it around 2005 and thought the artwork was cool but never opened it until a couple months back, I looked at the artwork and it does not age well at all 😂 my aesthetic has completely changed since then and unfortunately can't resonate with the artwork

Words of wisdom from an old woman😆- There is no perfect deck. There is no perfect partner. You decide what your deal breakers are, and that eliminates a lot. You decide what you would want, or prefer, and (much harder) what is GOOD for you, and you stick with that. You spend time trying to become deeply acquainted. You accept there will be things you don't like. You already know they're not "deal-breakers," so you get real honest with yourself and decide you will/won't accept what you don't like, but more important- WHY don't you like it? Is it about you, or them? Spend a lot of time bonding, and you might just discover that those things don't bother you after all, and there is even more to like than you first realized. Works with decks and partners. Good luck. ❤

As promised, some initial results on coloring the Morgan's. Ça marche pas mal !!! I used the Stabilo markers first, as a base and then colored pencils for shadowing. It's not easy and requires some repeated strokes but it's possible. Sorry for posting here. I couldn't find the video where I shared with you my itch for bringing color to Morgan's 😊 I'll try felt pens now and keep you posted 👍🏻
