Venat essentially believes that the Ocurria do not have a right to guide Man’s destiny because the Ocurria do not face the same issues that humans do (like death, love, age, etc) Venat wants to stop the cycle of the Ocurria having absolute power over Man so he sides with the archadians. It’s not revealed what caused him to go against his own kind though (aside from his beliefs)

The sleepga thing reminded me, but status ailments make your life a whole lot easier when you can land them. Even Immobilize to prevent enemies from moving is useful when you can just potshot them from a distance. And if something is weak to fire and can be hit with oil, then GG.

Also, the espers are ugly (usually cause ultima still looks okay) in this game cause they fell to the gods. Although in Cu's case, he rebelled because absorbing all of the bad and ugly stuff in the world turned him that way. Also given how we saw them act in this game, kinda explains why the espers rebelled on top of Venat defecting from the occuria.

Mirror Scales (1,952 gil) are a 10% monograph drop from the Mirrorknights in the Feywood. That one area's full of them, so that's where I go to farm gil. And it's not just Chaos and Zodiark you'll need Gil Toss for. The esper in the sewers where your HP drains constantly (and he knows Invert) also resists guns.

Use an Indigo Pendant to ensure your spells work. It works well with status effects spells such as sleep, blind, and the like. Also works well with decoy and reverse effects

I wonder if the Occuria made the espers out of humans or human souls considering quite a few of them have human features and in tactics they can possess people.

hmm best place would be still killing Zermous and farming the skelton soldier for the bloody bones for big money. Despite having a Anti-Magic field that prevent casting, you can allow fran to us shades of black or alterantive just controlling her while Ashe and Peneolpe does the damage. So i guess the faster soltuion would be gill Toss but then we are back to So the damage for GIL toss is the sum of the party currenty HP which would be in your case around nearly 15k but this going to be divide by the number om enmies in range since it is an AOE attack apprently. So the more enmies the less the damage. Also 1gil is 1damage, but what i coudl see against one enmies in this vidoe gil toss did 5835 damage i think, which means that bubble does not count and so your orignal max HP or less is only use for the damage formula or less you would ahve done 9999 damage to it. Hmm so if you want to use GIL Toss on Zermous to make it faster you would need around just to be on the sure side since the boss spawn constantly mobs which the damage get divided. Now let say penole use her gun as damage and does around 5k and only Ash is using gil toss for good constante damage or us have fran using gil toss since she can not use magic and ash using gun and heals with X potion. You could get away with around 200k gil i think and on avearge you should not use everything with GIL Toss. Just so you have good damage and the fight does not take ages I hope that makes sense what i write. XD

The Diakon Entite comes out when the Mist is a bit denser than usual. You can look up when you first enter the area and look at how much distortion is there. It’s more subtle than other tells, but you can see it. But yeah, crossbows are useless, worst weapon type in the game. Their accuracy is worse than bows and their status effect bolts aren’t nearly as useful as elemental arrows. Gil Toss is great, but yeah, you gotta stock up money. Like I mentioned last video, your best bet with undeads (those bats are undead) is Curaja, since there is no Holyja, not even with Ultima. Zodiark might could work if you want to do that, but I think if you get them to sleep (Indigo Pendant guarantees it) then Curaja, that should take care of them. I dunno that I’d use Drain, but whacking things upside the head with a Holy Rod was how my White Mage // Foebreaker did a lot of damage since the rod is holy elemental and it also boosts holy damage, and this actually does more damage than the Holy spell, but that wasn’t on Weak Mode.

You may not like it, but I really enjoy the formal English used in this game. Gives a more "prim and proper" taste to the dialogue. Now gird thyself, brother DK, for the Pharos shall test your preparedness. 😉
