Yeah the trail mode is the only time I had to break out the espers on weak mode.. Only zodiark tho. I hear zeromus can do even more dmg if set up correctly.. But oh well.

4 plus hours of Team FAP. A great Christmas present! This was a amazing video showing the Weak Mode version of Trial Mode. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try it, though I just barely made it past regular Trail Mode because of Zodiark and the Judges. By the way, what was that noise in the background throughout the video?

Struggle for Freedom does both, it ups the difficulty and changes a lot of stuff. For example, all the characters get their own LP boards but two different ones: "Struggle" which goes on a linear path, and "Freedom" which is open like in the original classic FFXII on PS2. It also tweaks all the gear such has Hand-Bombs have been replaced with Knuckles that Fran has access to on her board. Spells also have different effects as well for example Scourge is a water-based spell. Even Guest characters are changed up too to make them more viable. And each character gains an Esper exclusive to them to access special nodes on their boards. Enemies too have been changed up too from normal mobs to hunts and the bosses.

What i love about the judges is the order in which you take them out is the order in which they die in the story.

I remember how in your hardest Final Fantasy bosses, you dropped Penance from 4 to 9, yeeted Minerva buster from 2 out of the list, but the judges continue singing “You Are King”, with Oma singing backup in the remake. Since Zodiac Age was still fresh by then, makes sense people would find ways to handle them better. As for Absolute Virtue, I have heard that they have taken a whole day or so, but I forgot where patches and learning has placed them now. I feel it would be complicated since being an MMO boss, there is some dependency on other players, unless I’m behind the time and some modern raid bosses can be soloed.

Very intense end to the fight GG!! I cant even imagine fighting a renewed Yiazmat in the growing threat phase... holy moly that is actually insane!! Also as other people said allegedly its a 5% to get death hit, but if he has does a 12 hit combo: Thats 12 hits to pottenitally land the 5% so its like 60% chance to die (without reverse) by the instant death hit!!.. thats what makes this boss hard and annoying.. almost as annoying as Neo Shinyru's taking 0 dmg for like no reason...

Yeah, doesn't matter how strong some of the other enemies are... This part of the mines and the upper part of the great crystal are easily the most dangerous spots in the game. The most brutal form of "send them back to the mines".

Darkja actually has a 50% chance to insta kill each victim base. Shell merely reduces the chance by a third to make it about 33%.

Whenever Yiazmat punches you with his left hand, it says "Yiazmat readies Rake" on screen. Those punches don't instakill you because Rake is an enemy ability, not a normal attack.

It's amusing seeing the youngest and smallest team member slay the legendary monster. Penelo dined on Yiazmat.

This is just a difference in playstyle, I’m sure, but your struggles when you get into the final phases of these fights is precisely why I basically never use Adrenaline. It might technically take longer, but having a full team that fights healthy rather than two supporters for one critical HP attacker, it’s just a lot more reliable and consistent, and when anyone dies, picking them back up and recovering is much quicker.

Ever played any of the Dragon Quest games DK? I'm sure you would like many of the cute female party members like Jessica from DQ8 or the Brides from DQ5.

Penelo’s HP hit a different number because you lowered her max HP by changing her head equipment. Souleater deals % damage off your max HP.

They had to include the death hit, otherwise Reverse would just make you unkillable. The alternative is that the Reverse status wouldn’t exist. The same reason they gave Omega the berserk hit, because otherwise you’re unkillable with Reverse.
