Please please please don't talk about class quests and then say they're skippable. While on paper they technically are, there's nothing worse than a player lacking fundamental job actions and abilities because they've skipped class and job quests. Just do them, they don't take that long.

He also failed to mention that the Jobquests at lvl 30 are behind a lvl 20ish Main Scenario Quest (MSQ) that you have to complete. Most of the time you reach lvl 34 or even higher before you reach that part of the MSQ. At least on preferred worlds.

This 100% Aurum Vale, saw a WHM LV47 that didnt do any of their Job Quests, no Cure 2, Regen, Holy they should have had by that level. Healing with just outdated Cure 1 and tank kept dying even doing regular pulls.

Telling people to stress about their character creation Job is as dumb as it gets. You can change your job/unlock jobs before you ever reach the first multiplayer Dungeon.

7:05 DONT skip your Job quests, do them before anything else. LV30 onward, you get a new skill from job quests every 5 levels until LV50. Then every 2 levels you get a new job quest skill until LV60. Finally at LV70 job quest skill. After this, all skills are gotten via leveling again.

​@@SnowyRVulpix sad but true, it does suffer from skill bloat. Some attacks are redundant, like summomer energy drain/energy siphon, or reaper shadow of death/whorl of death. Be even better to have combo attacks be one button instead of 2-4 of them taking up Is individual hotbar space. Its PVP skill version does it better, keeps Job identity with small amount of skills.
