Haven't commented since the much earlier episodes since I've been catching them late and you've been getting plenty of comments of late offering all the advice you need. Was really enjoyable seeing the comment section grow over the course of this playthrough. Just like your FFX playthrough, this was incredibly enjoyable. 6:10 thats why so many of us that played the original back in the 90s had so much feels for the Remake. If you watch some of the streamers like Maximilian_Dood for example, they literally teared up when cloud got that premonition of the aerith scene that caused him to involuntarily drop a tear.

Yes, the order to experience the FF7 series is: FF7 OG, FF7 Crisis Core (the new release is fine, basically the same but updated), FF Advent Children movie, FF 7 Remake, FF7 Rebirth. I've skipped Dirge of Cerberus in my listing.

Easy win. No need to explain barrier/wall materia and when to reapply now but that combo we discussed of - Barrier-Regen-Haste at start of the battle it's just guarenteed winning. Glad someone pointed out to have megaexlir on standby. I was worried when you used all ur summons at the start of the battle with Sephiroths first form but it worked out. Also after you used tent, you had a tonberry fight and used a few summons. Summons cost like 120mp, they expensive. If you do reload to your last save to do ruby and emerald weapon. There's alot of prep work involved, like if you get someone's health to exactly 7777 they'l start the battle doing tons of damage & power your way through from there, you'll also want your base strength stat up with power sources. Which you could either spend hours grinding to get them or do a w-item glitch thing instead. Upgrade your 2x materia too to 4x, that way each attack would do 9999damage 4times. Or you get Knights of the round summon, required by getting a black chocobo - This is the easiest way to fight them but this is a whole guide on it's own. Once you've done that I believe you need W-Summon? or Manipulate materia? Can't remember which, you get at Gold Saurcer. It'd be wort just fighting them as you are just to see the power difference. Advent children btw is a ff7 movie after the end of ff7. Worth a watch.

So, originally, FFVII was meant to have an ambiguous ending. It's assumed that humanity was erased by the Planet. The compilation suggests otherwise. Or... the ending of humanity happened closer to 500 years in the future and the compilation just extends humanity's demise. The children's laughter is interesting. Either it means the Planet is healing or humanity survived. Very fun game with lots left to interpretation. Have lots of fun theory crafting!

Now if you play Remake and Rebirth, it's like the whole context is changed. makes the Re-trilogy infinitely better. Plus Rebirth is like a genuinely GOTY game. it's still top at Metacritic after half a year

gotta say in relation to 8 i like it a lot and ive played 4 through to 10 then 14 and 15. i would take 8 over 13 any day as i couldnt stand to play more that a quater of 13 before i gave up, and i like 8 as much as i like 9 and 10 though 6 and 7 are my faves. i like that they went for something a bit different and the story makes sense how i interpret it and i like the more adult feel to it.

Shinra almost killed the planet...but the planet won in the end. That's what I think the ending meant, with midgar overgrown and reclaimed by nature and whatnot

No you need to grab Omnislash from the Battle Arena in gold saucer. Its an all day play there event. Level 4 are the ones you have to earn with sidequests. You have Yuffies, Reds, and Cids i believe.

Cover materia is great for building Limit breaks fast. It helps the character youre building limits with to takr.more.damage thus more.limit breaks.

No Advent Children Complete is just a more indepth story and so much deeper. Especially the final sephiroth fight has longer scene and way different at parts. Not giving things away

FF10 does not have a better story at all. Final Fantasy 7 is bar far the best one, best characters, best villain. Just 7 is so complex, many dont understand it.

​@xhelan131 FF10 is heavily influenced by FF7... without 7, there is no 10. I like certain aspects more in 10, than I do in 7... but as far as storyline, 7 just feels more nuanced. And I love both of them, having owned and played both on the PS1 & PS2.
