I was shocked when you fought him in the end of the Nibelheim chapter, where he actually did put up a decent fight. Except that one fight he has always been a joke fight to me

I beat him without using magic at all on him and just saved my 27 mp for the occasional cura. Used enemy skill with plasma discharge and Sonic boom to overcome the reflect. Though I still may have had the plasma discharge reflected to me. Not sure because elenental lightning nullifies the majority of his attacks. Guys a goofball for sure. Love your guides though. You make hard mode a joke. If I'd seen this beforehand I probably would have used it and been more conservative with my mo during the previous battles

What do you do when there’s no MP for the fight :(

Use another guide, start the chapter again and get better at conserving, start chapter again and follow my chapter walkthrough etc, quite a few options

NVM I used MP absorb instead of HP and I was able to kill him with two Firaga's thanks mate!

God how easy to beat him. I am gaining a lot of faith I can finally do the VR as I get used to different strats on Hard. Onto Jenova

Oh god, good luck... the final two VR missions are horrible. Ten rounds of straight bosses with just Cloud and a certain someone else, and it ends with Odin who can instakill you.

@@sirloinestakegames7866 Yeah, that one is pretty cheap since it can both instakill you AND bring you down to 1 HP. It might be worth switching to the Yuffie infinite ATB strategy that the guy who made this video used to beat Rulers of the Outer World. It lets you keep filling up Aerith's ATB bar all the way in two seconds and then spamming magic attacks with her that restore all of her MP.
