Yeah. The battle as presented should be a “round 1” version. Then the advanced “round 2” battle should be as you described. Visually in their special arena and with elemental damage

It seems you can level Summoning materias. Maybe by beating them in a higher difficulties. Damn this really is turning into a forevergame.

You find their crystals in the world and investigate them. At the start of the video they show all 3 of Titan's crystals to investigate as part of Intel missions. Summon starts at lvl 1, but gains 1 lvl for each of their crystals you find.

I kinda wish they did a similar system to what Golden Sun did and make it so certain summon materia combinations make it possible to call new summons (junctioning 2 or 3 together), or maybe new attacks with green materia+summon etc. But yeah there's something wrong with going from FF16's titan fight to this in a virtual environment 😅 it'd make searching for new and even seemingly useless materia quite interesting

I hated the summons system. What is the point on having all these summons in the game when you cant use them unless it meets certain situations. Just have a cool down timer or a charge up mechanics so you can use it when you want instead of hoping it goes off.

I doubt you even had to 'hope.' They pop up in almost every battle so they're nowhere near as difficult to summon as you're making it out to be.

After the ff16 i feel spoiled. That game did summons the best i ever seen This is a let down and step back in ways. If you playdd ff16 then you would know why. The boss summons system was the best in the series. That game may not have been the boss fights were so epic it the best.

Visually, the summons in 16 were peak, but they ONLY function during scripted sequences in the main story boss fights which was kind of disappointing.

Bossfights look way too easy. Titan makes hardly any damage. Every fight I have seen so far was way too easy.

It's because you can nerf Titan if you do some tasks throughout that region. Fighting Titan at full strength is suicide, at least that's what I've heard

I like that it still leaves the option. I would probably want to fight them full power, also, but I have a tendency to do all the side content (which is supposedly how you unlock power-downs), so that would have been frustrating.
