Alucard Best limit break from FF VII was Omnislash. Yes, FFVIII has the best limit break. FF9 limit break was slow, lame. FF10 limit break was stupid. FFXII limit break was short and lame. Still FF7 and FF8 stays the best ever.

Probably, not sure if leveling seifer affects the lvls of chars u get later on though. I just did it with edea because i already had all the party members by that time.

Its not actually a surprise beating Omega Weapon with Squall alone with level 7. Its actually easier. You just have to know how to collect magic, items and how to junction properly. Since there is only one character, you can use a lot of Renzokuken without any interruptions from other characters. But you have to kill Omega fast before he uses Light Pillar.

it doesnt matter what level your characters are at this point because you can max out the stats of your character by playing cards with CC members on ragnarok, in this way you dont even need a junction (except for death)

not if you only kill cactuar they give 20 ap per kill and 8 exp at lvl 8 so you can learn alot of abilities without leveling

you did somethig, thats for sure, if this is the pc version, then no prob, Omega grows in lvl when you level as well, but on psx he is always lvl 100 with speed 200 and always ALWAYS start attacking with lvl 5 death.

it's my video. All characters are at their starting level, Just set up my junctions properly. If i removed them they would be the exact way the characters were when i got them.

I tried on both the PC & PSX versions... and even though I once tried to use a cheat to max out all of my characters' Spd to 255, OW's speed still beats me somehow. And between his turns, I can only do 1 or 2 Limits...

Hi!!! i leveled ifrit with seifer and doesn't affect the other chars levels. it's nice to have the lion heart in disc 1 and squall at lvl 7.

how did you get the lion heart? especially the 12 pulse ammo for the weapon, because you need ifrit at lv 10 to learn the ammo-rf and i thought that you need to lv up so your gf lv up too btw i'm at the end of disc 3 in a no lvl up game and i'd like to have the lion heart

Out of the most difficult bosses I have beaten in ff history, Emerald, Ruby, Penance, Nemesis, Ozma and Zodiark, Omega weapon from ff8 has always taken the biscuit. Nice video.

Actually I think this is the PlayStation version so that's probably not what happened. He's suppose to be Lv100 no matter what. He uses his moves in the same order, the guy just killed him before he was able to use it.

I have played this game to more of an extent than you have and I still didnt come out with 9999 health - I dont know if it had anything to do with the fact my highest character was lvl 30. But it might have.

i dont think theres much difference between using a holy war and using the defend command, they're both doing the same thing essentially, namely not letting you do physicals (maybe one or two limit breaks before aura runs off in holy war) and being used to nullify all damage from terra break, the bastard son of all cheap superboss moves

wow the way you fought him was so cool. I fought him when I was inside the deep sea research. I did not really have a strategy, i just thought.. hey why not try? lol I got lucky probably that he hit me too hard then squall did a lionheart and i got 100 megaelixirs. Then I used cerberus to do triple on protect and shell... I did not have holywars because I do not know where to get it.. thats it.. not much of a strategy lol!

Anyone asking how he got all those Lion Hearts in a row it's called "Crisis Level" it goes from 1-4, 4 being the highest. If you have aura, crazy low HP, his is 1 for example, you have like a 96% chance of getting Lion Heart. There is no luck or hacking involved it's simply knowing the game

What are you playing the game on is the ? really, if you are on the PC like the poster is than omega weapon is leveled up or down with your party like all monsters in the game, if you are playing the PS2 version he is much much tougher, level 100 no matter what so maybe that's the problem you are having with him

If squall was lv 99, this fight would have been much eaisier. For once my speed stat would be higher, so i could also have higher evade state not to mention my physical attack would be doing twice as much damage

I beat Omega Weapon the very first time a few days ago. I did it with no Holy Wars/Heroes as well. My party was Rinoa, Irvine and Squall. I had Irvine and Squall do the dmg, Irvine sometimes use Megalixirs and Rinoa be the healer/main support. Sometimes I could afford Rinoa do dmg too. Shockingly enough though, Rinoa got the finishing blow with Angelo Cannon doing 9999. :P

haha levels actually have very little to do with characters in FF8. junctions and abilities determine stats mostly, and its not very hard to get 9999 hp. if you have that chocobo world thing, you can win stat ups really easily too try going to gamefaqs and searching for power save FAQs, they're really helpful

Card or run away. Stone the forced encounters that give you exp. Bosses give no EXP, it's obviously possible.

Level in this game scales around Squall's level surprisingly. Everyone else can be high leveled, while Squall can be low level

actually, the lower your level is the easier are the enemies. so low lvl means lower hp on enemies, and you dont need Lvling-up for stats, since you can raise them with items and junctioning to the max

everyone always uses the same tactic which is to use aura and finish bosses off with just limits...its not original at all but still a cool feat. i finished this one off with mostly magic such as meteor and triple just cause i like magic more :)

Gj!Back in the days,it took me atleast 15 trys to kill Omega Weapon cos didnt know the Best stradegy and didnt use Holy r The End or even Defend ffs etc So it was tuff af for me but i didnt give up and 1st time i killed this SOB was when others was dead and Squall got 1 Hp left and lucky that i got Lion Hearth and Boom,Omega Weapon got Killed lol 2nd time was alot easyer cos i learned how OW attack but few first fight when Terra Break mostly killed me,i thought that No Way ill never ever beat Omega but heck yeah i did 😎 Ultima Weapon didnt give me any issues and ill saw a comments some FF8 video,that Ultima Weapon is harder than OW but that's BS!

omega weapon es lentisimo, es obvio que como tienes nivel 7 tambien omega tiene un nivel muy bajo, ya que no te ataca y tardó mas de tres turnos en sacar el TERRA BREAK, dices que no ocupas hero, pero el DEFEND es igual a usar el hero.
