Four onion knights with crystal or onion equipment, and 8 onion shields, and flare. easy battle, other method is Bard with requiem, devout, ninja (I use a onion knight with curaja and flare) and viking with all crystal equipment include two crystal's shield and use provoke.

Never fight this guy on waning moon (where physical attacks get doubled), I learned my lesson not to underestimate the boss despite being high level

Exactly,but maybe they added them in the section of FF2 bosses because that was the first game where he appeared... i think same thing applies to behemot

yea,but if you have played this game,you will notice that he was set among the FF2 bosses,since FF2 is the first game he appeared...

well..its up to you. actually rosa is better than porom and if you want a physical attacker,you have yang,edge,ursula's good too,because of her tenketsu.. dang no one use the eblan 5 xD

the FF1 bosses are easy,the most dificult is tiamat,cuz she (yea,shes female) have lots of attacks that can easily kill ya if you are not careful... so anyway,it depends if you are underleved or not..

Anyways, he is annoying in every FF statement. I haven't arrived in this part of the game yet, I'm currently fighting the FF1 boss gauntlet, having a hard time with kraken.

I've decided to swap party members, Porom is better than Rosa, Kain is doing decent damage and Ursula's Tenketsu is very useful, Ceodore is proving to be quite better than Cecil.
