The church sought to hide the truth from the people, that Pee is in fact stored in the holy stones. This is the beginning of the upheaval which would later be called the "Lion War'..." Only wrote this out because my reading is slower than Delita trying to cross a map.

firstly: i absolutely HATE that i missed this premiere after working with Rab on this. secondly: I am both honored and privileged to have had a direct hand in the making of this nutshell (and part 2). anywho, i hope you all enjoyed the nutshell! i tried as well as i could to come up with some nice bits for everyone to enjoy. after years of watching/enjoying Rab's work, i am elated to be able to have a part in this. yes, i have had some small parts for voice acting in a few of the most recent nutshells, but to me, being able to do this project, feels like a sorta love letter to a creator who has brought me happiness over the years. please stay tuned for the part 2. i hope you all enjoy it as much, if not more, than part 1! thank you Rab for allowing me to have a part in this masterpiece! much love m8

@@joshuadroddy7123 thanks for the question! The primary reason is the nutshells are written based on Rabs experience with the game. And rab does not use cheat codes as in game genie/shark or action replay codes. Now if we are talkin about leveling up characters because of a exploit, ie stabbing your team followed by healing to grind jp, then that was in part 1. No spoiler for part 2 sorry. Second reason we didnt go with a lot of jokes revolving around this joke topic is because the goals of the nutshells are to give a somewhat brief synopsis of the story while taking jabs at plot points and coming up with jokes either based on fan wisdom or memes. Here at RABToons Inc., we take pride in making sure to be inclusive to as many jokes as possible without disrupting the flow of the narrative. We also take pride in using running gags. These nutshells i tried to inspire hopefully some new gags for future series. With this particular game a two-parter was necessary. While Final Fantasy has been a long-time series on this channel, Tactics is the first game to have such a text heavy story be turned into a nutshell. I myself never played FF13-2 or -3, but by watching his videos not only did i grasp a bit of the story, but also got a laugh out of the videos. We hope to do the same with these nutshells. Sorry for the very long reply, but i would also like to use this reply to answer any similar questions like "why didnt we use X as a joke?". But all the yelling does is make it so that the single remaining enemy takes less turns per player character turn. It doesn't really speed it up too much just by edging out the enemy to one go every 12/13 of yours lol.

All I can say as they are using the original PS1 interpretation, turn everyone into squires and sub chemist to have potions handy and learn Accumulate and JP up immediately! Then you can just power your self up while the monsters advance on you make sure the only counter you use is Auto potion and in no time at all you’ll one hit the crap out of them unless you have a knight that can break their speed.

Level an oracle. Start a battle and kill all but one enemy. Surround said enemy with other party members. Turn them all into frogs, including the enemy. Move oracle to opposite end of area and turn on ai for him to run away. Set others to ai attack. Go do something else for a few hours and come back to enough JP to unlock EVERYTHING.

@Dark Remus Eh, Orlandu has the problem of simply being far too good, far too early on. He's like those end of game characters who you use to fight the end boss (and can carry the fight for you if you messed up and needed help) but you get him half way through the game and he just solos it the rest of the way. Heck, you get him before Meliadoul which is an utter crime. She has a unique class that's super cool, except... you've already had Orlandu forever by that point who has all of her abilities (along with Agrias and Gafgarion's unique abilities) and none of her weaknesses. Oh and he has overall the best weapon in the game already equipped... Again, halfway through the game. Honestly it would have been much better if Meliadoul and Orlandu's recruitment had been flipped. It would give her time to shine and Orlandu would show up much closer to the end of the game and not trivialize so much of it. Still one of the best games of all time, but man Orlandu is not one of the reasons why... Oh, also, I'm totally with @skins4thewin Agrias is easily my favorite character.

@@callmeshaggy5166 So? You get him near the beginning of Chapter 4. Chapter 4 is longer than every other chapter in the game. Heck it's the same size as Chapter 2 and 3 put together (which are both bigger than Chapter 1) and that's not including the extra/secret missions (or the secret dungeon) which are generally only available in Ch4. One could easily argue there is more in chapter 4 than all of the rest of the game combined. Add to that there are still many characters you get after Cid (about half the special characters!), Meliadoul being the most egregious example of this. Even characters who are not outright made worthless because of Cid's existence in your party (like Beowulf) still have their thunder stolen because you have Cid who is just better. Cid is the kind of character than games like this give you on the last or second to last mission to make sure you can get through the end boss. Not what is effectively only halfway through the game and before characters that they are strictly better than (Meliadoul cries in the corner).

He's not as bad as, say, Mustadio, who sometimes runs right into the middle of the nearest group of enemies so he can take a potshot at the archer fifty miles away. Or Rafa, who charges *straight at two ninjas and a samurai* and dies before your party ever gets a turn.

Replacing your Chemist with Mustadio is actually the best decision. He's always my chemist every playthrough. Delita is always useless but you got the runaway one. He usually does the exact opposite and runs into the enemy team and dies first and then Algus would waste phoenix downs on him if you have them. Also see you went the stab route instead of accumulate spam on ramza/squire for leveling.

fun fact, it's completely accurate as if you were truly grinding, the easiest place is weak story enemies and they can not survive attacks from your higher levels (story enemies are set levels but random encounters are not, they scale, which can go hilariously bad when high level monsters do not need equipment but you do XD ). In the end, you either have to use non-damaging attacks (pretty rare early game or cost magic, limiting their use) or attack your own party because it is more valuable than the fights themselves (the highest amount of gold you can get from a fight is something like 100,000 gil but by then you won't even be using it except for phoenix downs) Also, fun fact, the most dangerous fights in the game aren't anywhere near the final bosses except for the hidden area Deep Dungeon XD

The "going around stabbing each other" had me rolling. I remember killing all but one monster and then surrounding it (so Delita couldn't come in and kill it) and alternate between hitting it and healing it. ...at least, I think it worked on monsters. It was a while back. But yea...totally remember that strat. It's funny. FFT is one of my favorite tactical games, and I remember the job classes, and the characters, and even a few of the backgrounds we fought in......but I can't, for the life of me, explain to anyone what the game's plot was about. I always did it at mandalia after the Algus fight, and made sure to surround a chocobo so that it would use choco cure when it got too hurt. I also made sure to bring a knight with power break so that I could make everyone do next to no damage.

It’s even better to not strip him, steal his stuff in the battle, and then you’ve got two copies of all his stuff. You can’t buy his armor for a decent clip, and an extra Power Gauntlet is awesome. You can either make him a normal knight or take his sword away to make him pretty useless. It’s the armor and accessory you want to duplicate anyhow. Mythril Swords are everywhere by then.

As someone who has played every Final Fantasy numerous times, this one in particular, I really enjoy the attention to the annoying details, and the fact you call them out on it. Especially in this particular series, with Mustard Banana nut Bread, I mean Mario Bunsen Burner, no wait...started with an M...:P You know the one, the one that could help and shoot your enemies from afar but instead dies when a gentle gust of wind hits him.
