I always loved the progression of Epitaph into Searching For Friends. It goes from a very heartfelt reminiscence from Setzer and Daryl's relationship, to the tragedy. I will admit, the World of Ruin was very depressing to me and I felt lost, and confused, but suddenly when you hear Searching for Friends, You're set alight with a new found hope and purpose, and this rendition of the two really brought that back for me.

bsm075 And my favorite Setzer moment. To me; every character gets a favorited moment, and this is the one Setzer has that I like the most. Right up there with Locke having closure, finding Shadow in the Colosseum, Edgar and Sabin bonding through certain points, Celes motivating herself through a botched suicide, etc. just to name a few.

Honestly, though, I still count it. Yes, it can be a "Guide Dang It" moment if you didn't know the first time. But I like the bleakness in that moment before it shifts to a sense of hopefulness more.
