"I have an almost 18 minute song (dancing mad) and a 21 minute song on my playlist guys"

Haha - some of coworkers when I leave behind my iPod and they are free to listen to it are shocked at the random music I have in there from radio pop to orchestral video game music. Dancing Mad and the Credit to FF6 was playing and they were wondering why this song took forever to end. LOL. I looped them all together and I think it became like a whopping 45 minute long track. They could have just pressed skip - I dunno why they had to endure that. LOL.

18:07 is when the good old Final Fantasy theme plays in a game where it had been absent all this time only to make a surprised entrance at the end. That only made it much more powerful.

You can hear Celes and Locke's themes mixing, and after Relm's theme, Shadows' follows, sounding more complex and constructed.

IMHO, numeral rankings don't really do it for me. If it was a tier list for any order, those two games are slapped in SS Tier or something.

I've been listening to the Pixel Remaster soundtrack and I absolutely love this track. I decided to come give the original a listen. It's really astonishing how close the SNES version of this is to the new remaster.

That's what amazing to me. The SNES lo-fi OST is hard to beat. Sometimes I'll listen to one of the full symphonic remakes and I'll feel that the emphasis is off or some of the complexity feels more like added noise than clarity.
