I still think the ending of MGS3 is far worse. Kojima literally makes you, the player, pull the trigger to kill The Boss, then Snake/Big Boss finds out that the entire mission was a lie.

Beyond the limits of outstanding!! I can see why people consider this to be the best one out of the franchise. Everything getting up to Kefka felt so epic. The opera segment is better than most opera I've ever heard. It has some if not all magics, auto weapons, and the most characters out of any FF ever. I'm starting to think that FF7 was only remembered for Sephiroth's theme song cause this one should be far more talked about. A special and masterful thanks to you Owl Crest for uploading this game.

FF6 has the best ending scene. The spaceship flys through the entire map and npcs cutscenes . Saying good bye to all the adventure and journeys we had there.

The story is completely self-contained. It's probably the only Final Fantasy in which the story is completely resolved for every character.

He stayed behind to be reunited with his friend who he left behind. I think it’s more a tragic end than it is meaningful. He put no stock in the people that helped him and defeated kefka with him and only held onto the past and let himself get taken by it. I guess it’s what he wanted though
