I really like the low-fidelity vocals, even if they don't make a lot of sense for the NES. They add a lot IMO.

They're possible on the NES, dont worry. They use DPCM, which was rarely used, and if used were used for short samples like drums, but on rare occasions, an instrument, notably used by games made by Sunsoft. You can hear it in the mario 3 soundtrack. Its really interesting so you might wanna look into it, or ask questions here, i dont mind answering.

@@Nikku4211 it takes up 49 kb. Definitely cant fit on a normal cart lmao, but something like kirby's adventure with 1 mb. Keep in mind that this is sort of an idealization of the song. If i really wanted to, i could compress the choir further. I predict it could take about 10 kb at least?

@@NontpNonjo Thanks, at least I know i can still sound good if i dont try lmao (joke ofc, still trying, gotta make great music) More specifically about this one, alot of the insturments are just one Duty cycle over an arpeggio because it was easier than making 20 insturments, but in my opinion it sounds worse. The other remixes on my channel im pretty fine with, this one I kinda feel ehhh towards. Great to see yall like it though

Sephiroth uses Supernova. You are sent to an alternate dimension where a comet-like missile heads for the sun. Pluto gets obliterated into pieces and Jupiter resembles a doughnut. Random math shows up on screen. Proceed this for the next 5 minutes until the missile finally hits the sun which causes a supernova. Your party takes 1 damage.

(Lmao even the choir fits into the 5 channels, its DPCM) I could have done better on this remix, but basically arpeggios can allow up to 3 notes "played at once" and so you can get at least 2 chords playing. Then the timpanis are replicated by the triangle
