re: vincent gameplay, i think his base form will be simple like barret, but they'll make a chaos gauge like red xiii's vengeance mode, and then the chaos forms will be beefier/more melee oriented

OK, let's see... 1. Have Tifa engage with Zangan in a boss duel at a remote location in order for her to earn her final Limit Break. 2. Icicle Inn could be a ski resort town. Would also be a good idea if they have cold weather gear too. Tifa in particular, would freeze! 😂 3. Feature Aerith Interludes ala The Maiden Who Travels the Planet. She can help with the likes of Biggs, Wedge, Jessie and even Dyne with their guilt in the Lifestream, for example. 4. Assume that the party doesn't have the means of re-entering the Forgotten Capital after picking up Bugenhagen at Cosmo Canyon. Bone Village can be worked back in to locate the Lunar Harp, thus making their way through the Sleeping Forest. I'd expect to see the Forgotten Capital be fully explorable too. 5. Kinda related to 4. What if the Sleeping Forest and Ancient Forest were one and the same? 6. If Zack is back in the Beagle timeline, at least allow for him to revisit his hometown so his parents get some closure. Cissnei too, I suppose - and let's find out her real name too. 7. Witness the final two Acts of Loveless to be performed preferably in Midgar. 8. More Midgar. Maybe like in Dirge of Cerberus, the party can descend into the city on hoverboards (though the parachutes are iconic somewhat). Also, they can reenact the opening prologue of Dirge which featured Yuffie and Vincent that also took place in Midgar. 9. Will both scenarios of the train mission on a collision course into North Corel be animated? 10. Hopefully, the previously explored locations in Rebirth won't need to be explored all over again. Perhaps those regions will be unlocked after getting the Highwind and the new regions will be explored first. I've got a more thorough DLC idea for Rocket Town coming in another comment as this post is already long enough. 😂 DLC WILL be happening. Hamaguchi-san didn't flat out say no in a recent interview. 🤞😄

Think of this. The Renake trilogy is made with UE4 on PS5 essentially. What Square Enix could and should do is when PS6 releases, move the game to UE5 and release all 3 parts at once remastered.

Knowing how big the "bring Aerith back" rumours were back in the day, it's hard not to imagine them trolling us with that. That said, I haven't dwelt on this too much for part 3. Simply on the basis that Aerith will have significant presence in part 3 regardless of whether she is technically alive or dead. We haven't even seen all of her weapons and limit breaks yet. So, even if she is "dead", I'd wager to say that she's as "dead" as Sephiroth is in Remake.

I'm truly excited for the Highwind! Big time! Whenever Square brags, they always deliver. Don't know if I mentioned this, last week I read "FFVII The Kid's Are Alright: A Turks Story." That was a fun read. And that puts every compilation entry under my belt. I feel like the VIIR series is making the compilation even better, and knowing more compilation makes the remakes better! Have you read that one Sector? That ending made me smile. Especially the little bit at the end when the readers eyes are on Cloud. As for the full story, there were some cool twists to it. I feel like Nojima has gotten better with his literature over the years. There might be some underground places beneath the Great Glacier in part 3! Although the locations in 'Turks Story' are described as new from the lifestream when it came up to stop Meteor. Take your time with chapters 12, 13, and 14, Sector! When ever the game gets exciting is where the hidden stuff often lies!

I mean, let's be real- they're going to milk 7 as an IP as long as they can. But this Remake trilogy has been nice- I fully expect to enjoy the ride of pt 3 and find the ending lackluster and unsatisfying, lol. But will I be buying the ultimate, updated, re-balanced, 8K, triple game package that's gonna be on sale in 10-15 years? Absolutely.

One thing that annoyed me was a certain big streamer using this dev talk to head-canon-confirm that Aerith is fully gone cause he clearly has a weird dislike towards her, which his fans will now just parrot endlessly. Like, yeah dO0D, they are really gonna spoil something that they are clearly being vague about and trying to build hype around at a random developer panel. One thing that worries me about part 3 is the weapon fights. The only hype way I can think of, in a way to fight them, is with Vincent in his Chaos form. It’s the only party member who is capable of really taking on a weapon. Cutscene heavy Chaos vs weapon fights? lol Scaling down the weapons to fit the battle arena would be such a downer, I feel. They are suppose to be these giant kaijus. The only other way I can think of is the fights being pretty much like The Arbiter of Fate fight where the party splits an each take on a certain part or something. Would still be lackluster though. Picture a chaos vs weapon fight in the style of ff16. Minds would be blown lol

I just got chills thinking about the possibility they bring back Aerith in the final battle (like in Rebirth) to eradicate Sephiroth from existence. Possibly full party Zack Aerith and Cloud at edge of creation. Imagine Cloud V Sephiroth at edge of creation goes just as it did in the OG but then Sephiroth just chuckles and chides Cloud about being predictable. They fight one one one for a phase, Zack comes in and the two rally until then end of phase 2 when all hope is lost because of some mcguffin ability out of Sephiroth. Then suddenly Aerith enters and together they finally make him become a memory
