I agree, I think they're looking to give each character opportunities in each role but damn it'd be nice to just have straightforward builds. I didn't invest in magic Tifa initially because I didn't think it was going to be a thing long term but it pumped out fire magic before she got fire phys. Same happened with Lucia, I invested in mad minute heavily and then they never gave her another physcial weapon. Was really strange since it indicated she could potentially use phys weapons but serpant eater is the only high damage one available.

I 100% agree with you both, the fact that they deviated so much from what Tifa used to be is actually something that somehow upsets me... I caved and OB10 both Amarant's Claws and Guide Gloves, and at least Amarant's Claws got an improvement, but Guide Gloves is a lost investment. So I would pretty much prefer if they stay like this: Sephiroth being Physical and Tifa Magical, or if they revert them completely, but these back-and-forth can only hurt players. Agree that they are trying to make units viable in all situations, but it doesn't go well with the randomness of the gacha : /

I'm probably just pulling on seph because I don't have any outfits for him and maybe tifa, I'm pretty much all in on aerith as my healer so I don't really feel like I should be pulling damage for her and I've abandoned cloud because he never gets anything nonlimited 😭. I was kind of hoping for Kefka outfit for seph but I keep forgetting he's still a good guy I hope they give us some crystal though because I'm tapped out after pulling on cait/vin/angeal and I'm kind of trying to do like you and limit my spending 😆

It’s craaay to see they are dropping a crossover so soon after Ani + Angeal, I’m gonna skip every full dps weapon and focus only on utility, what I fear is that we are going to see a huge role compression, such as “900% Phys Wind + PATK [High] all + Wind Res Down”, etc, so it’s going to be tricky to skip those… Also what I realised after having water Glenn only in OB8, is that for those limited weapons is either OB10 or nothing, OB6 is not really “enough” to compete anymore so I rather have one copy for collector sake, skip, or go all in!

@@pliyo yes as far as guild battle/crash/brutal tower you really want ob10 but I don't think they will put an "elemental glavenus" until maybe towards the end of next year. at least they've been really good with giving non limited very strong dps weapons with multipliers but if you skip things like kamura and quina you're really in a bad position because they are limited and they might never return. the strategy might be to just never pull on nonlimited

I feel you, is impossible to chase al banners. I’m going to pull for Sephiroth and Tifa, probably Aerith too, I’m thinking I might skip Cloud this time. Also agree that Utility weapons like Kamura are way more useful than Dps ones, that’s my plan too, to focus on utility rather than pure DPS

Tengo 60k cristales y este es mi FF favorito...pero tampoco me voy a volver loco porque los trajes no me interesan (el de Locke está guapo,pero ya tengo cien mil trajes para Cloud). Depende de lo que hagan las armas,a lo mejor voy a por el traje de Locke,o a OB6 un arma que sea buena pero no creo que me funda lo ahorrado. Dicho esto,el Kame (que está super guapo) es básicamente AuraBolt/Aura Cannon en FF6 (la animación original es suficientemente distinta para que no tuviera que COPIAR a Dragon Ball xD) . Lo más INTERESANTE del ataque es que en el juego original es un ataque de tipo HOLY....¿Es este el inicio de nuevos elementos en el juego? Creo que deberían de meter un aliciente extra para los trajes o algo,porque los crossovers a veces vienen con pasivas que son igualadas/superadas por trajes parecidos...y más allá de obviamente el aspecto físico (o algún arcanum/pasiva única) gastar máximo 36k por un traje me parece demasiado CUANDO ya tienes otros múltiples trajes variados para un mismo personaje. No sé,creo que cada traje debería de tener también una habilidad tipo Ultimate Weapon (pero más débil,de 1 uso)...aunque quizás esta idea se la reserven para futuros trajes con "nombre más exclusivo".

Yo acabo de empezar el 6!! Nunca lo había jugado, aún no me había fijado en el tema de los elementos pero ojalá que sea Holy moly macaroni! De momento acabo de tener el primer encuentro con Gau y me está encantando el juego! La idea de que los trajes tengan habilidades únicas me encanta y me da miedo a la vez 💸💸💸 pero estoy de acuerdo contigo en que los trajes son carísimos y a veces aportan muy poco. El de Aerith pinta a Phys def + Attack + Wind arcanum! Aquí comentaba uno que Cloud solo se lleva cosas limitadas, y últimamente es cierto, creo que por eso lo mismo hago skip de Cloud, es difícil imaginar qué nivel de poder van a traer, pero si esto ya supera el aniversario sería una locura de ver. Yo creo que voy a empezar a centrarme en utility, combinacioned de armas que me den: PATK up + PDEF down, Imperil, etc etc.

Very disappointing not gonna lie (at least the boss is Kefka!), Tifa again with a male outfit wth are they thinking? Also weapons seemingly are DPS focused - so unless any of them offers a role compression or something we dont have by now - i am skipping, except for Aerith skin as it looks gorgeous.

Damiaaaan!! How are things, man? Tifa should have been Celes, 100% agree! is silly for her not to be, I fear role compression is coming and we are going to see something like “900% Phys. Wind DPS + PATK [High] All + When HP [self] is >75% Wind Resist down [High] All”, I’m looking at you Aerith! 👀👀 And if they drop that I might cave and pull, but certainly I wanna start focusing on utility, I think dps alone is “a bad investment” these days. Everything is changing so freaking fast 🫣

@@pliyo Collaborations tend to be on the sucky side so far in EC - Limit Break weapons is where the true value lies. Look at how MH stuff was almost insta powercrept - except Kamura. I really regret pulling there on Glavenous & Kirin - i never used them except for Kirin in last ranking and Glav as a sub sometimes. FF9 only Kuja is of any relevance. So my bet is on marginal dps increase for water/wind and neutral magic/phy for Tifa/Cloud - but with a twist like Glavenous. Still i can bet that 1 of the 4 will be a must like Kamura/Kuja. So best is to wait until all 4 are available and decide.

Crossovers are stinky, I remember pulling in Guide Gloves and Amarant’s Claws, and at least Amatant got a bit better but Phys Tifa is nowhere to be seen. I think moving forward focusing on Utility like Kamura could be relevant. Agreed that Kirin Gloves and the others are not really needed! If only they could make these collaborations even cheaper…

@@pliyo Yes totally agree. Tower was cool and more or less no time pressure at all. Finally we get fixed camera angle and a real manual mode. I couldnt believe my eyes. 😂
