Welcome to my second video in my overpowered series in todays video we find out just how overpowered we can get in final fantasy x-2 in chapter 1 with just using Yuna, Rikku and Paine. To get op early all you got to do is auto battle until every dress sphere is max level as soon as you get it and do the creature arena to get accessories

Here is a little tip for pc players. When fighting djise outlaw. Set cursor to "memory" in the config option. Attack every monster with a blizzard attack (set everyones dressphere to back mage). Make everyone focus on learning the blizzard attacks. Download something like auto keyboard make it hit enter every 50ms. Only stop the bot when you level up and learn a stronger blizzard attack. Then repeat. You can go away for 30 min and come back to see profit. Dont forget to set the gamespeed to 4X

It has one of the best combat systems out of all of FF. The story is light hearted with some serious notes while being less linear. and expands the FF10 world lore. If you enjoyed the world of FF10 I would recommend X2

If you played the original version on the PS2 at least in America you weren’t able to get it or the festival one as well or the garment grid he is talking about. The fiend arena wasn’t available either. If I’m not mistaken it was only in the international or Japanese release. It wasn’t available until it was re-released with everything added to the HD version. Plus the mascots was only available if you got 100% in the game. Not thru a tournament

Chocobo, Tonberry, Cactuar, Red Element, and Crawler are all very good creatures, and four of those are small creatures so they can be a trio

Both of Leblanc's sidekicks are OP as well to add, the dual-gun guy has even shorter attack animation to spam

I never use YRP in the arena. The simplest method I’ve found is Chocobo/Red Elemental/Tonberry, which will get you past Youth League routinely enough. From there you farm the Smooth Shailing items to max out a Recoil, Flak Python, and DiveBeak. Absolutely destroys everything in its path and can be done once you’re wrapped up with Gagazet (though you may want to get the White Mage dressphere from Bessie first).

What do you mean "once you're wrapped up with Gagazet"? You can get an unstoppable team even before you go to Gagazet. You just don't have the Black Mage dressphere. You also will want to keep the Chocobo and the future Cactuar so you can do those tournaments.

Are you recording the audio in one go in it's entirety ? At least it sounds like it with all the time you mess up while saying something and have to resay it or correct yourself, I could only recommand to make audio cut and recording the audio in smaller portion and then adding them together at editing, would make rerecording easier if you mess up and also make it better for everyone watching. otherwise it's a fine video.

It gets even worse. I do new game+ runs with nothing except a Cactuar and unlocked fiend and bestia cup. I got to major numerus in less than 4 hours without the speed up function (Using monsters ofc, no ng+ tho)

U can get Paines full throttle from tromell and Unerring path (a 2 slot grid) (hes in the woods where Auron first showed u the Jecht spheres.. u have to engage his talk scene 5 times. helps u on ur grind for psychic, then u can run FT(its a specialty so u will have to grid cycle to use it) on Paine and Psy on Yuna and Rikku

I beat the Shady Duo with YRP, but I had to use the Songstress ability that blocks magic damage, i.e. in chapter 5. And it took several tries.

Yrp can defeat the shady duo but it's definitely alot harder and after around 7 hours of trying it definitely got annoying without access to the better end game accessories

If you've never played the game I recommend play through the game as you normally would and enjoy it I'd also say avoid using creatures on your first run I've played through ffx2 before and for the most part it doesn't offer to much of a challenge story wise doing this is more for if you've played it before and wanna replay it for story lol

If I remember correctly. FFX-2 was the best FF in existence. But then again.... I was like 17 when the game came out on ps2, and my head worked a bit differently back then. I actually have a brain nowadays, and it works half the time too. I have no clue why this video was recommended, but I'm leaving this comment here as a thanks for the trip down memory lane for me.

Did you only use a Regal Crown on your Tonberry and Elemental to teach them Darkness? I'm having trouble getting them to use Darkness on the Shady Duo

I gave them the regal crown for darkness and removed any abilities that they had outside of white wind and life/full life

The less abilities they have the more likely they are to use the one you want can be annoying though since you have no real control over what they do

Its way faster to sit by the entrance to where u grind yunas heals cuz RP can handle about 40 battles before needing a heal so u can keep the battles flowinf faster by popping in and out of the entrance every 5 battles or so then running to yuna when ur health reaches the 20s

If you are referring to the chocobo dungeon for the amazing chocobo you can do it on your first playthrough but because of no mini map you'd need to find one online and follow it but it is possible

I played this game a long time ago and remember getting very close to beating it but I think I stopped just short of vegnagun. Recently I started a fresh playthrough and I’ve been a little surprised just how easy most of this game is in terms of battle difficulty. It wasn’t until I fought dark yojimbo in chapter 3 that I got my first and only game over so far. I just started chapter 5 and am working on getting the AP egg in blitzball but yea everything has just been super easy and I haven’t touched the creature creator whatsoever.

When I played this as a kid, the game seemed a lot harder than it was when playing as an adult the game difficulty spike isn't that major compared to some other games I just feel like Dark yojimbo is probably the harder dark aeon to fight in my current save file I'm at like 93% I need to get back to it haha

@@LostSins_ yea haha I raged pretty hard at dark yojimbo. I honestly think that fight in particular is harder than almost any fight in ffx just because of the nature of the battle system. With ffx you can take your time and think about your next move but in x-2 when he hits you with that zanmato you’re then scrambling to try and recover before he hits you again and god forbid you don’t have poison protection lol. Ugh I hate that fight. I know it’s gonna get a lot harder towards the endgame but I’m trying to prepare for that ahead of time

quick question? im trying to play the game and get 100 percent in the game, is it necessary to have 100 percent in bestiary and collect every beast and listen to their stories or i can play it without going to beastiary and still get 100 percent? i actually like this idea of OVERPOWERING your characters from the very beginning since the game afterwards will be very easy to beat, but im wondering will my high level affect the 100 complexion? or i need to slowly suffer and play and collect every creature/person for my beastiary? im making a small diary where im basically writing every step in the game but this part of collecting beasts was always the most tiring part of the game

You don't need to collect the creature creator monsters for in game 100% story completion that is optional outside of that if you are however going for 100% achievements/trophies you will have to do the bestiary for shina but not the creature capture

@@LostSins_ i see, but will it affect the ending if i decided not to go for 100 achievements/trophies? since i want to go for the best ending where yuna sees tidus. cuz i tried to do bestiary and man that is KILLING ME IN THE GAME! i want to go for the overpowering version where i would get mascot dresspshere that is the best dresspshere and we need to collect them all in order to get 100 percent complexion in the game. Also overpowering in the first chapter will do me SO GOOD in the rest of them since i dont have to focus too much on my upcoming bosses and i really adore ur idea. but if i overpower myself i will have a bad time at bestiary since the bosses will be heckin hard to beat. and will overpowering affect the 100 percent of complexion? sorry my engish is bad so im trying to be 100 sure since i will be sad as hell if i make a mistake. thank u very much sorry for bothering

@peaceout8230 it's not a bother at all pal if you don't want 100% trophies/achievement it won't effect 100% game completion you can still get 100% in game I would recommend following a guide as there are small things that can easily be missed as for overpowering it wouldn't effect completing the bestiary as you can farm oversoul version of enemies on the same type of enemy example being if you get a dog to oversoul but don't defeat it and run into a different type of dog enemy that enemy will oversoul immediately

ngl ive always loved ff13, its so misunderstood because people dont pay attention to the story, then complain when they missed something because now their ignorance has them referring to the data log, very easy game and story to understand, in saying that i also loved 13-2 because it brought an already really good story to a perfect close, and ive always absolutely hated 13-3 for completely ruining that story..... thats exactly what ff10-2 did to ff10, it ruined a perfectly good story, the game is fun to play still, but if you jump into it for the story coming off ff10, probably gonna be disappointed

The true benefit of it is being able to finished the whole game without having to worry about grinding at all ( however the real benefit of it is just spending 20 hours to not have to worry about anything lol)

If you can't use the darkness skill it will be because your hp is to low as its a skill that uses hp

Very true unfortunately however if you are playing on the ps2 version my opinion there is to grab the black mage dress sphere farm ap and exp on the highroad near the save point you can't quite get up to level 99 there however you could easily farm to around level 20 at least there's also the early game grinding with the goons at the very start for a early level boost

Primal liquid is part of the influence for this video yes it is very similar and after doing my own research he really did have one of the best ways to level up I choose not to use fiends as I didn't want it to be an exact copy plus I was interested to see how powerful YRP could be

The huge problem I had with x-2 was that I did stat maxing in ffx. So Yuna did 99,999 with a regular attack for me. Then the very first attack I did in x-2 did 1 damage... If she had spent the 2 years since ffx in a coma, you still wouldn't expect her to be ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND TIMES weaker 😂

Yeah... talk about over power? Final Fantasy 2j, you get powerful enough to reach mysidia at the beginning of the game and you get to mysidia and talk to the statue with only 2 keywords = proof of your levelling over the game's script ! I intend on playing FFX, FFX-2, FFXii, FFXiii and it's follow ups in the next few years. I stopped at FF9, I'm a 2D ff player mostly, played all my life and I just want a game, not a movie that is playable so the modern ones aren't my cup of tea but I will play them to shut up critics of my perspective on Squaresoft RPGs

FF1 I dislike they killed the Peninsula of Power but you level oin the sea instead, everytime your black mage has no more ALL enemies spell you go to coneria inn for 30gil and repeat. Then when you break the land with the TNT you go straight to Crescent lake and LEVEL vs trolls and centipedes aside the town

i don't get it, why do you have to go around the grid ?? and do you have to do it for every grid you decide to use or just for this purpose? I got to about level 20 and i keep dy ing on everything whilst doing no damage, so i'm definitely going to be trying this. chapter 2 right now.

You go around the grid to hit the notes around it for the bonuses they give

Also no real explanation on what trap pods to use and where for the tonberry and red elemental. Idk if i want to bother with the chocobo side missions rn but looks like i have to
