Final Fantasy X - Besaid Temple Cloister of Trials

this temple is such a troll. especially if you want to unlock Anima. It's the first temple in the game. so chances are if you're new to the game, you're gonna miss the destruction sphere puzzle. you kinda get thrown out of the temple into a cutscene without warning. So there's that one window to do it. you cannot go back to get it until i believe you've beaten the macalania boss. why? just because. you can revisit other temples, just not this one. i can't even remember if i got it or not. i sold rod of wisdom. there's no way to find out until it's too late. so after you beat that boss in the woods, you have to know to walk all the way back to besaid at that random point. if you leave it till you get the air ship, you're already a traitor to Yevon and you have to fight Dark Valefor. you probably won't be strong enough to beat him until you've already beaten Sin, by that point you could have used Anima to get hidden dialogue with Seymore and all that. there's not much point to getting him now. The only real solution i can think of is to get Yojimbo and 1 hit Dark Valefor early. and using Yojimbo to beat secret bosses is kinda frowned upon, because it defeats the purpose of the challenge. This temple is basically a "Fuck you".

@Konstanley Jerknov yeah. the sun sigil is like another logical fallacy. like you can't get it unless you've trained up your super boss fighting team (usually Tidus, Rikku, Wakka), and you can't get your super boss fighting team until you get that Sun Sigil for Tidus. The only solution is to spend hours and hours on end training up Auron instead just to use him for that one boss fight. or just be in the know, and get the sigil right after yunalesca before you leave the room. its kinda like you can't have certain things in this game unless you have the knowledge of playing it a few times before.

the only temple that you can do once is the bevelle temple so in order to get all of the items necessary you have to get it right in bevelle the hardest one in my opinion but definitely worth getting anima and magus sisters in my opinion. Also you do not need a full celestrial weapon to have break damage limit for anima yay

Yeah, But there will be a summoner, in the village and he will summon Dark Valefor. So yeah, you HAVE to fight Dark Valefor if go back to Besaid.

@kenvinkills1 Yes u can return, right before u go against Braska's Final Aeon u go to the Fayths, u'll have to do the trails over & the Fayths will speak to u and give you spheres

Hey so getting the Rod of wisdom here is the key part in getting anima? meaning every temple i go to i have to use the destructive sphere to open up a secret door then open the chest obtain whats inside and when i get to animas temple every single statue will light up opening the door to the faith? Ive finished the game before but havnt been able to get anima or the magus sisters.

nope,first u need to go to high brigde if u got the control of fahrenheit (the ship u use to fought Evrae)then go back to besaid and tada!!!

Lmaooo they probably never realized there was a destruction sphere and had to come back to fight a dark Aeon before they can get it later in the game

@Supermatroid64 I sold the one got in Besaid Temple T___T anc I don't remember the abilities, i think there was only "Spot" that reveals enemies' status.... Please, someone tell us a market where there's this weapon with this only ability!!!!!!
