Update: You can add the Perfect Lucky Egg from The Voracious Resurgence for an additional treasure hunter, and any piece of the Volte Jupon set for an additional one, if you don't want to waste DM augments on treasure hunter.

Do i need to do objective to get loot, or simply killing mobs will get me some stuff?

Just killing is enough for crystals, if you want cards you need to hit objectives. You might get some cards if you just kill though. But way more effective to hit the objectives you can if you are there for cards!
