Final Fantasy 12 Henne Mines Path to Zodiark & Nice Treasures in Henne Mines
Zodiark is the ultimate Esper in Final Fantasy 12. He can be fought in the Henne Mines after the player has recruited ten other Espers (there are thirteen in total). This section of the dungeon is tough but also contains some great treasure.
Final Fantasy 12 was first released way back in 2006 on the PS2. At the time, it was considered somewhat controversial by many Final Fantasy fans due to its departure from traditional FF gameplay. However, it is now looked back on fondly and many would consider Final Fantasy XII to be the best entry in the franchise. In 2007 the International Zodiac edition was released (in Japan only), and this version of the game included a more traditional job-based system and a new battle areana. For this remastered release, these additional changes are being brought to us fans in the West for the first time ever - along with high resolution textures and remastered soundtrack!

Just traversing the area before Zodiark is such a fucking chore... and if you happen to die to him you have to go through it again because they either forgot to place a fucking save crystal before the hardest Esper in the game or thought it was a good idea to make the player go through an area full of respawning, status altering enemies more than once. I can just imagine how fun it must've been for the people who played the original version without autosave and had to start frome the teleporting save crystal.

:') I beat Zodiark at my 3rd try with the beserk strategy. It was so annyong to fight all those undeads,their debuffs could weaken and wipe out my part in seconds,and my characthers were over level 90 XD

Thanks for your FF12 walkthrough/guides. I was following this video while playing this part of the game nearly in synch with you ahead by about 10 seconds. When you said the location of the zodiac spear was 1% I was like yeah sure I'm not going to get that. I turned the corner and the treasure containing the zodiac spear was there. Thanks to you I've been enjoying this game and what it has to offer.

Bro! I freggin actually got the zodiac spear while watching your guide! I was actually running back and fourth trying to get the grand armor chest to spawn! Wasn't even counting on it at this point, thought I would just come back later and I heard the chime sound right there, and there it was!

Trial mode lvl 49 its a rare steal. Thats prob ur best bet

All my characters are 93 and up thanks to embroidered tippet walked right over zodiark with bravery and berserk cast. For breakers/uhlan with a holy Speer doing 30k damage

Is the only way to find out what espers youve obtained thru lb? Would say beastiary but ive cleared up to 86 and need zodiark >< *update* found out through pressing square multiple times whilst on party menu icon, on triangle menu

I am really struggling with this... The geomancer is still saying that I am not strong enough. I have all of the other 12 Espers and have completed (and reported) all of the hunts. The next part of my story is going to the Pharos... I've been holding off on proceeding, so I could side-quest with Reddas in my party. Please help! 🙏🏻

I think your average party lvl needs to be 55. That's the only thing i can think of.

Reddas is so useful! Never do Pharos before doing all the content avalaible so you can use a powerful 4th party member! ☺

You only need to zone back once to reset chest spawns but with a 1% chance it might take a while. My next video shows how to get the chest to spawn by manipulating the RNG so that might help.

Having 10 Espers defeated isn't the ONLY qualification for opening up the path to Zodiark. You also have to have completed the hunt for the Mindflayer as well.

Yeah, that sounds like your game is bugged then. Since the only 2 things you need to open up that path are to have 10 Espers and to have completed the Mindflayer hunt. After you've done both of those things, then you follow this video by talking to the guy in the village. Only then will the gate open. It doesn't open up simply by doing those 2 things. You still have to talk to the guy to get the gate opened. If you've done all of that and it still isn't triggering...yeah, your game's bugged.
