My best time for this fight shown.
A quirky strategy to be sure, but pretty fun doing close to max damage per hit legitimately. If I had been able to keep Vanille's health in the green, she would have been doing 999999 per hit.
If you didn't know this:
The Tier 2+ ability "Ally KO: Power Surge II" on Vanille's Mistilteinn increases her damage by +130% for each downed ally, so she is doing 360% of her normal damage with both allies down.
You can't use fast casters because they won't cast spells as RAVs, which means they won't die when you want them to.
For Sazh: Any weapon except Rigels, Aldebarans, Pleiades Hi-Powers
For Hope: Any weapon except Airwing, Malphas, Alicanto
Imperil MUST stick on the first turn.
Sazh and Hope should be set up to survive exactly four attacks, no more and no fewer. The ideal case is shown, where you stagger before the third attack and then have your allies fall to a stomp and then Ultima or Quake post-stagger. Two stomps is fine but your times won't be as good. Unfortunately, his typical post-stagger routine seems to be a stomp and then Bay...
Not sure how much more I can lower my times unless I tweak the strategy.
