I remember in endwalker when the balance released their melds I copied it. Then when the recipes came out I had to remeld to get an extra 200 craftsmanship if I wanted to use the tea instead of calamari

I can't second this enough. Just level your crafters and hoard materia until the Savage patch, there is NOTHING in the game right now that needs you to pentameld. Just be patient and wait until we know exactly what we're gonna need.

Are the materia XII guaranteed slots safe to meld? or they too could change?

Maybe only real option to do penta for jewelry, because like usually we'll get stuff only for clothes from start, and maybe 2-3holes will be enough

I'm not melding till those new recipes come out! EW almost killed my crafting desire when I had to remeld both crafting and gathering gear.

With all the EW materia I had on hand, it didn't make sense to me not to use that for overmelding this early crafting and gathering set, just to hit certain points like perception or whatever. Any of the new materia I get I'm just saving it all until the master recipe stuff drops. I was very happy to see how far the overmelded EW set got me in this expansion. I'm nowhere near as organized as you are, but for me this hasn't been as much of a dumpster fire as last time because I follow a lot of the stuff you do, outside of spending 450 million on prep mats. lol I can't do that. Great video, as always.

I have a question? is it safe to meld the 100% grade12 materia into crafters, as you suggested in the video? will those be the same in 7.05 or they might change too? since im poor i cant afford many melds so i have to sure i wont have to remove them

Yeah, collectables with a mining/botanist rotation gets you about 2000 orange scrips per game day, so 4 new XII materia.

if you have 10s of billions, why be careful. if you won't live it up at times like these... when are you going to? of course we should not make stupid buys, but, being close to a billionaire myself, i don't know what I'll do with it all in the end. what exactly are you going to use your money for if not to make life as easy as possible?
