You forgot step 30, crash almost every single fucking time you try to land the Regalia F, especially after hours of playing without saving.

Strax ~That's hilarious because I have only successfully landed the Regalia Type F once.... after the Pitioss Ruins. Even when I flew in to that area to get to the dungeon, I landed upside down (I don't know HOW it wasn't considered a "game over" crash, but it didn't catch fire, no one screamed and I was able to exit the car and head to the dungeon anyway! LOL!). When I left the Ruins, it was O hours and pitch dark - I saved my game immediately after exiting the dungeon because I KNEW I would need several attempts to land successfully and continue the game... and I KNEW I wouldn't be able to even try in the dark, so I flew around until dawn and then landed in the northeast where there were no street lights or bridges or other roadside obstructions! Believe it or not, I did it on my first try - I was both amazed and elated. Soon after, I had the Type F converted back to just the Regalia and never flew again... That's how bad I sucked at landing!

Strax Landing isn't actually that hard. All you have to do is press X when it tells you too and then stay steady. I've seen a lot of people press X when they are really low to the ground which doesn't work because the wings have to go in the car first. If your having trouble just press X and hold the break button to slow down. The car will just lower down for you slowly 😊

+ROT695 that's not the problem I have with landing the Regalia. If I'm landing on the Coernix bypass, on a long straight with no traffic or anything, everything is fine. Landing where there are some light poles, where the road suddently turns, or in that pitifully short "landing strip" to get to Pitioss Ruins, that is when I crash...heck, I even crashed once while taking off because of a light pole xD Moral of the story: I'm back on the standard Regalia. :P

2:14 : i did this Base quest chapter 8 >< (with don't care of stealth to farm items on soldiers and bipodes) and i also cleared the 2 previous bases, but i didn't get the step 13 quest when i exit the base i clear in chapter 8 (i still atm in chapt8 with +210H, i'm farming drops like Zu meat and the giant "Toro" meat before going chapt 9) 4:50 : i don't understand, do we need redoing the chat8 base in the chapter 15 ?

If ur talking about the base mission, u may have already done it (like i did) prior to beating the game. Check ur inventlry for "strange engine" if so go to cindy. If not idk

This game is broken I beat the story 2 times already I'm on my third attempt now! I get to chapter 15 I call umbra I'm back at hammerhead and cindy has no quest for me I've got all three pieces because I've did the two that is with the main story and I did the side quest! I go to talk to cindy and noting happens there is no quest up and running for me. Could I have sold the pieces? I don't think you can. And I've pretty much did all the side quest in the game! No matter what I do, I can’t get to chapter 15. I have went to chapter select, and it won’t allow me to go to it even though I’ve completed the game. The "Unknown Frontiers" quest only appears if you have "beaten the game". In other words, beaten ardyn. Otherwise, you can only get the 3 car parts.

selecting chapter will reset all your progress so maybe you have to replay all the story since chapter 5

You HAVE to be at Chapter 15 (doesn't matter if it is from a New Game+ or from regular New Game). Chapter 15 only appears if you "beaten the game". You need to load up your Chapter 15 save and go back into the past in Lucis.

Did you verify those three parts are in your inventory? Then skip to the part in the video where you are in front of the Imperial Base and the sidequest is added to visit Cindy.

Save the game in Lucis (while in Chapter 15). Quit the game. Shut down the console. Re-run the game and load the save. Then do 5 monster hunts (any). After you finish all 5, look for the new question mark (yellow) sidequest on the map that starts the flying car. Go to it and it will add the last sidequest you see in the video

edepot I play on the first version because I don't have wifi to connect my ps4 to, so can't update game. Anyway, what I understand is that, yes, even before updates, these items are key items, however; neither the warped wings or the strange engine are outright given to you. I'm not sure where to find them, but they're hidden somewhere in the fortresses your supposed to get them at. Still not certain as to the unstable stabilizer. My circumstance is as follows: 1. I'm currently in chapter fifteen 2. I've completed the sidequest for formouth garrison (the one for strange engine) 3. I only have the unstable stabilizer. I don't remember how I got the unstable stabilizer, but one thing's certain - finding the other two is going to be a bitch.

Nice crashing into the pole when you first took off. I think a lot of the issues people have with landings are that they don't give themselves enough room and end up hitting something. I've only crashed once on landing, and that was due to me landing too hard after denting my car multiple times. Other than that, no issues. Landed on Pitoss Dungeon's runway first time as well, so might just be that people are charging into the landings. Still, nice video.

For landing, locate a nice strip nearby on the map, stop pushing accelerate (R2 I think) And start braking (L2 I think) And tilt your nose down and get as close as possible. Then, start descent and level out just before you land.

Regalia type f automatically has unlimited fuel, for the regular regalia, however, isn't quite that easy, you have to go to the arena in Altissia and play totomostro and win 3,600,000 medals and exchange it for a magitek generator which gives the regalia unlimited fuel.

MurkinUP To get out of there easily you have to reverse as much as you can. Accelerate forward and start flying as soon as you hit the right speed

edepot. there's a spot where you can jump out to the regular area and then just press R3 and tow it back to hammerhead. I don't even think you have to jump out.

It's better to tow it to the nearest road though that way you don't have to walk ALL the way to hammerhead. In my case I had to go to hammerhead anyway because I tore the care up just landing it at pitioss.

Have no idea why people crash so much. Literally only crashed the first time. I've landed in curves and all. Don't come in too fast and let the game land for you. Press the land button as soon as you see it then just adjust left or right to make sure you're somewhat in the road. LolAlso this video is wrong, you can fly pretty much the whole map aside from a few blacked out areas. It's how you get to Pitioss.

That map you are refering to is lucis, as stated by edepot, if you talk to umbra he can bring you to : altissia, lucis(past) or to the present. if you pick lucis, you land in that map, so yeah
