This guy had 3 ranking titles, and also 3 masters titles that he won in 4 years. 3 masters in 4 years, what would become of him if cancer didn't strike him. He would surely win world title one day and many other ranking titles, and who knows how many masters. Such a tragedy.

Nice to see Matthew come from behind to win a close one at the Crucible for a change! Had Matthew not suffered the blow of losing hid Dad (his coach and mentor) at such a young age he would surely have gone that extra step and been world champion as would Paul Hunter had he not tragically passed away.

And! Occasionally exaggerating the colour of the colours when the video lets the colouring of balls down! Even those of us without colourblindness are thankful!

Very evenly matched these two, at the time. I think they played each other at the same stage the year prior and their rankings were similar then as well. They also both went on to lose close semi finals in consecutive years to the eventual runners-up..

He had sex with his girlfriend (and wife later) during the mid-interval of his 3 Masters finals, where he was always several frames behind, but after his 'sessions' at the hotel, he came back and ended up winning in the decider :)
