What's great about this game is that you can mix and match not only the final girls, but also the killers and locations, so if you love one killer but hate their map, you can just fight them on a different one, or vice versa

I fought Dr. Fright at the Carnival of Blood. My starting event card that I started the game with was the wandering werewolf that attacks victims, Final Girl, and the killer. I decided to "retheme" the werewolf as Jason; so I was playing Freddy vs Jason! Felt perfectly thematic. I agree that this game just results in such cool stories.

I bought Hans+Dr. Fright. I am planning on getting the Poltergeist and I am absolutely not drawn to the other 2. So far I played 3 games: - Won against Hans by drying up his resources and then hitting him with the Aluminum Bat - Lost against Hans, same strategy, but he got double attack and appeared right before me with a terror card :) - I tried fight instead of flight, after getting a second life, and knew I had the damage to finish him. When he was lying there he came back to life also to slash me twice against one guard. - Lost against Dr. Fright whos Finale just did 4 hp loss every turn. Also the road got blocked and Dr. Fright started in the intersection getting one after another. Amazing round

Good video. My list is quite different. Sacred Groves is my least favourite, followed by Creech Manor, Frightmare, and Carnival of Blood. Camp Happy Trails and Hans is my favourite just because it's simple and straightforward.

Look forward to seeing where you fit the poltergeist in. A lot of it comes down to the connection between the movies I loved growing up, and that is one of the strengths of this game - the nostalgia factor.

Sacred Grove is my least favorite because it is not evocative of any film whatsoever. All others have a pretty clear or at least probable tie to an actual film. My guess is that the entire reason for Grove's existence is to satisfy some kind of diversity quota. Africa ain't exactly a hot bed for horror film settings..
