I've never encountered any rendition of this song, that hits quite as hard as the original does. Most sound either too serene or too upbeat still. The original has such a delicate mix of sadness and simple accemptance of the incoming catastrophy.

This is the moment I fell in love with games and this game became my all time favorite I borrowed this game from Blockbuster- I was playing a save file with at least Great Bay progress. I had no idea what the game meant by "72 hours remain" or "24 hours remain" I was just running around exploring the world and having fun Then the final hous kicked in- I was at that log outside South clock town on the way to the Southern Sawmp. It was then I noticed for the first time that moon, which did look a little creepy, was now notacibly closer and was obviously getting even closer. I had no idea what to do as the clock turned into the final countdown... I insticntivley hid behind my shield- in the log- until the world ended. I never had a video game impact me on such an emotional level and it was then- at the age of 11 or 12ish- that I realized how video games were able to fill me with the same kind of emotions as one of my favorite shows of the time: Beast Wars (If you know- YOU KNOW! Dinobot was the GOAT!) Yeah Sonic on GG and Star Fox 64 made me love video games- BUT THIS IS WHEN I BECAME A GAMER AT HEART

Thank you very much! This song usessss ICELAND 1 - Spectrasonics Distorted Reality (the sound you hear at the very beginning of the song. It's apprently a very slowed down sample of a sleighbell!) Some sample from Distorted reality for the "tch" hit sound you hear ring out at some parts Sound Ideas Sampler library for the harpsichord CD 1 - Instruments - Strings - Synth Strings - JX Lo Strings Right - DigiDesign Samplecell Factory Library for the synth strings in the back. And that's about it!

​@@irikachana Awesome. Thanks for the info! Also, there were a few things I noticed since I made that comment, but I'll keep it brief. I was playing Wind Waker, and beat the first boss, before I noticed the exact same sample playing. It just plays on loop in the one location until you collect the heart piece. It was really weird hearing it by itself unexpectedly. I think I'll look into the previously mentioned sample further now that I know the name of it (I might wanna see if I could try and recreate it as well if I could find the right sleighbell!).

my only complaint is the Iceland 1 sample doesn't seem to be looping as it properly should so it causes a dissonance from the original track, and is the only thing keeping this from truly being a proper restoration. It would be cool if you could redo it and get the sample to loop properly
