James Flack , God’s grace is offered. And, like a cup of water on the table for a thirsty man - unless he lifts and drinks it - he will remain thirsty. You have the opportunity to come to Jesus. Repent and accept him as your Lord and Saviour. Saul did just that on the road to Damascus. He was against Jesus, and he became an ardent follower of Jesus.

James Flack , God doesn’t impose himself on people. Man has the ability to treasure peace. This peace comes from the Lord Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace. Many reject Jesus Christ, and the results are terrible - war , hatred , mistrust, infidelity to one’s spouse,poisonous television soap operas. The medical profession treating the wonderful gift of pregnancy as if it were a disease : contraception, sterilisation, vasectomy and abortion. These medical attacks on God’s plan for his people are an abomination in His eyes. The bombing raids on Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen, destroy world peace. Mother Teresa said “If you want peace in the World GO HOME AND LOVE YOUR FAMILY.”

I love this tune. This is really old-fashioned good. I don’t know how it can be so very good rhythm wise but it does something to your wellbeing. I get in a spiritual mood almost immediately. There should be more of this on you tube. Since I am not so frequently in a meeting anymore due to my age I miss this very much. Why is there not a whole meeting on you tube? Since English is not my first language I hope you can see my point. H.Rijk

Yes, Hans ,a full meeting would be greatly appreciated. These songs are classic, unsurpassed for the message and music of the Gospel. Glory to God in the highest. When I see these young Salvationists, I wonder if they are still trusting in the Lord our Saviour. . . .

I just wonder where the spirit of the Founder William Booth has now gone. Its all just so sanitized these days in my view. Is the Salvation Army still a Revolutionary Church with a special message? - or has it just become a well meaning charitable organisation that looks after those on the streets? I was brought up in the Army ..... but I think it has changed. My Dad and my Mum died as avid believers of everything the Salvation Army stood for - but WHERE in modern life do the Salvation Army stand now.? You watch and listen to this video and its still quite vibrant and meaningful (even to me as an old sinner) ........ but its old school isnt it ....... its a 'closing down' song. WHERE has the Spirit of William Booth now gone ???????? Sad but true :(

I listen to this song as much as I do my Dylan Music. I get mesmerized by both Dylan AND a Salvation Army Band - I just wish the Salvation Army retained as much Charisma at times :( WHERE has the Armys belief now gone ??

James Flack, God and the family are under attack from every quarter. The TV is the Devil’s tabernacle. The media and film industry militate against God. Remember God’s kingdom is not of this world. One battle all Christians should be involved in - the sacredness of life. Abortion kills 800 beautiful babies each working day in Britain. 56000000 world wide every year ( according to the World Health Organisation).Truth, beauty and the family as God meant it - one man , one woman marriage - all else is sin. Pregnancy is a gift from God, not a disease. Contraceptives and abortion , genetic engineering ,gender reassignment, 3 parent families, designer babies- those things which are unspeakable by ‘respectable’ people are abhorrent in God’s sight. Jesus , His Father and the Holy Spirit give us more strength than we need. The grace and love and encouragement to win disciples for Christ is readily available. Take up our crosses and follow Him. Each of us has to find The Lord God’s will in our lives . The kingdom of God is within us. Jesus still reveals himself to those who seek him.

@@Randolph1233 - I just cant agree with you on the abortion issue - but I would comment more on the role of the Salvation Army. I will try to bring William Booths 'rationale' into a modern day language. ....... Salvationists are supposed to care for fellow human beings - yet how can so many Salvationists vote TORY - when you see a Tory Government CONTINUALLY pick on the weak and defenseless as easy targets when it comes to cutting assistance. The Tory Government seems to see the Salvation Army as a mere extension of a public service charity rather than a Christian Organisation. The Army needs to get back to its roots - and be VISIBLE CHRISTIANS - with a VISIBLE MESSAGE. I do despair I must admit.

James Flack There is very little difference between all political parties. Each party makes bellicose noises to rally support. Which party wants to bring the Bible back to the classroom? Which party opposes the harmful sexualisation of young people in education, the media and the entertainment world industry? Which party supports one man - one woman marriage ? Which party pledges to catch and jail drug dealers ? Which party supports parents being the best for family life, in contrast to government strategies which smash families by taking children into care/fostering ? Off camera all politicians are great buddies/drinking pals. Lord Jesus , come in glory. Save us from our sins. . . Amen . . . ..Amen?
