Many fond memories of playing Paul Roos a good few years back. Nothing much has changed: Outstanding from 1 - 15 + bench + coaching staff. Well done Paul Roos, wonderful rugby!

ABs fan. SA school boy football looks to have been at an astonishingly high standard for many, many years. Baffling that the professional systems there so disappointingly let down all that talent and potential of players and coaches. A damn shame. Would like to see more of these guys come through.

A lot of that went down to poor administration and coaching and only so many places in the Academies that also had to face quotas. Fortunately now the players of colour have taken to the sport in big numbers and the guys that make it to the top are bloody good at it as we are seeing in the Blitzbokke and now the Boks. We really don't need quotas anymore which means it could be down to pure merit now which is incredibly good news for everyone.

more like 47 points.... The biggest difference is the lack of discipline by the NZ school team and the fact that they play the man and not the ball, cant score if you dont have the ball

The St Peters boys were dressed very sloppy overall and seemed to bring that same sloppiness into their game. Discipline has eased in SA too compared to when I was a student in High School in the 80s however Paul Roos and Grey still maintain those high standards. In fact you won't see any SA High school in the top 50 ranked rugby schools where students have their jerseys hanging out and their socks at their ankles and some of the socks don't even match. In the 80's we got caned for that unless you had just been tackled or scored a try and needed to adjust your clothing accordingly. We also were not allowed to celebrate tries and like Grey it was a handshake between the scorer and the kicker and the scorer has expected to go back to his own half and take his position for the kickoff. Celebrating wickets in cricket was a no no too.

Look at how sloppy the St Peter's guys were. A lot of the socks didn't match a lot of them had their socks down at their ankles and jerseys untucked. No wonder they produced a sloppy performance. SA schoolboys would get into kak for that.

Mate if we sent the team that actually won the New Zealand title it would have been a different story, this team had year 12’s filling in for the players that left after winning the title and finishing that year of school

Its so frustrating to see SA rugby on this level. Not looking for space, only trying to bash through the first defender they come across, only relying on a great kicker at no10 and has skill drills practised as a last resort.. there will come a time at springbok level where 6 points are required to win with 1 minute left and your attacking abilities and innovation has to be priority! SA needs to come right or we will watch other nations fly past us. Thanks for the content though, good to see SA school sides playing overseas.

Actually PRG worked out that the St Peters forwards although big boys didn't like them driving down the middle so exploited it. Other PRG matches in SA including the world rugby festival they played expansive which included putting over 70 points on Napier Boys high. I felt the St Peters forwards were also somewhat cynical - they took ages to roll away and had quite a few lazy runners which made it hard for PRG to swing it out wide.
