Don't know when exactly she woke up, but I think she's just weird like that, and that's how she normally acts. Or she's kind of in shock and doesn't know how to respond to being a zombie, but she's doing what she's supposed to anyway. Kind of. The best she can.

The most moving moment was not that of the girls on stage, but to see each one of the fans that they gathered along the episodes among the audience. The metalheads from the first episode, the elders from the second and ninth episodes, the little girl from episode three, some workers from episode four, the Drive-in Tori manager, the Journalist and the photographer from episode five, some fans of the mini-concert from episode six, Lily's father from episode eight, Reiko, Maria and the biker gang from episode nine. All of them there in the crowd was something very special. All closing in a circle since the song they sang was the same that they had not been able to start in the gig at episode two that ended in the now famous rap battle of Sakura and Saki.

Not to mention that they all got there through one of the worst snowfalls in Saga's history. I mean, the weight of it literally brought the roof down. That's real devotion.

I think really all of the songs, were for sakura and all of the girls. I mean every song is about overcoming bad things and moving on. They have a second chance and life and the songs are to help them and the one hearing it to live. I, for one, think the use of CG wasn't that bad and was necessary to show this kind of coreography. It's incredibly hard to animate those movements in 2D, not to mention the use of camera movements would have been a pain too. I'm glad they took that direction since it shows us the dances they created just for this show.

kinda personal, but wow this show is amazing. like i was having a total breakdown today: i felt like i was stupid and couldn't do anything right no matter how much i tried. after a lot of crying, i thought i'd watch some anime to take my mind off things. i started watching episode 11 and 12, and was shook because when sakura first got her old memories back, she was literally saying some of the things that were running through my mind. the lyrics to this song hit me so hard...i needed this.

Me too, I used to feel aimless and I couldn't find any meaning in living. I didn't think that an Idol comedy could change my life, but it did. I felt so reflected in Sakura that when Ai said "I don't believe that mistakes or failures are a bad thing" it made me want to keep going, those were the words that i needed in a specific moment of my life. I mean, it's obvious we're getting a season 2, there are still many things to be answered, if you saw the end of episode 12 you saw that people were on to Ai, Junko and Lily and Yugiri, Tae and Manager have yet to be given backstories, in this case I think it's best Tae is left mysterious unless we really want it, we would never be left on that much of a cliffhanger, if you still have your doubts on Twitter they've hinted at a second season already, it's also had more than enough success to be given a second season, my best guess would be 1-3 months from now 3 being the maximum

It depends on where they want to take the franchise. This could go to mobile games (Cygames is one of the contributors to the series), marketing (They literally promoted real Saga locations), more music, holo concerts, OVAs, etc. Part of the shows appeal was that we didn't get what we were expecting (Zombie Anime, Metal Idols, a harsh critique of Idol management, etc.). I could honestly see season 2 pulling another switcharoo on us. Promote it as an idol show, then swap in some comedy horror about the zombie uprising. Sure, it'll piss off fans that wanted more of season 1, but those same fans probably weren't expecting to watch an Idol show in the first place.

I have a feeling that Yugiri's backstory, given her previous career, would be the much-awaited OVA (episode 11.5 in the storyline?) If there is a S2 of ZLS, (pleaseohpleaseohpleaseI'llbegoodIpromise) I think Kotaro will play way more heavily in that storyline and reveal more of his past.

ednoled Actually, the producers of the show have already hinted a season 2 on Twitter, plus its gathered more than enough success in Japan to be given a second season :) Also I think an OVA episode would be used to focus more on the daily lives of the various members of Franchouchou, because Yugiri's backstory would add more to the actual story aince the bartender apparently knows her and "owes her a favour"

The cg was an artistic choice, not a necessity. We've seen several songs choreographed without cg, while 0:19, which wasn't at all a difficult movement, is done in cg. It's used to show when characters are fulfilling the general role of an idol rather as opposed to when they're performing for personal reasons. Also it highlighted when Sakura refused to be very cash money in the final performance.
