Echo, frankly, has been very bad compared to their usual this tier. Their consistency for progression has been very poor which is way different than usual. Method has had a fairly smooth consistency curve but just feels slightly less skilled than echo but its felt like theyre WAY closer than usual, and hotpot too absolutely coming out of nowhere this tier and doing insane work. Best actual race in a while since the top 4 are all reasonably close for once in a long long time

I also feel the same, the reclear was bad, prog on ky'veza and brood wasn't amazing (silken was pretty ok all things considered). And yet they are closer than they should be. Liquid is still heavy favorite but somehow echo is not a full day behind yet

Seems fair to me, you just have to play extremely well. Remember we're only 2 weeks into mythic even being available. Everyone else who clears it will have substantially more gear and the stacking buff starting week 4.

They should not make it as hard as numerically possible for teams like Liquid and Echo to just barely kill it. It should be hard, but not that hard. I expect maybe a hundred to two hundred pulls, but 300+ is too much even for an end boss let alone a mid-tier boss. It feels like an internal competition at Blizz to make the harder boss with no care of how the tuning even should be done. Having the next boss that has a 1-2B increase from the previous one is way too much *if* every boss does it. Going from wing to wing, sure, but every boss in wing two onward has at least 1B health more than the last. That's just fucking stupid design. It should be the mechanics that make it hard and not the health, and mechanics shouldnt have instant raid wipes or constant unfair overlaps. These bosses are terrible compared to bosses from MoP and WoD.

Why not? Blizzard always nerfs bosses into being boring af later on anyways. 300 pulls isn’t even that many. A good raid should probably be around 800-900 total for mythic prog, and with how they been going with early bosses being a joke and falling over in single digit pulls that means backloading the raid.

The China guild should technically be in 3rd right now, not Method! They have gotten the boss to a lower percentage!! So what if it’s only in intermission p1 and not p2…..if there are 4 phases, but sum1 kills the boss in phase 3, they would still win, because they took all of the Bosses health to zero 1st. The bosses health is what determines a win not the most phases!
