Westinghouse also installed the original Westinghouse C-100 APM vehicles here, before being replaced in 1996 by ADtranz with brand new ADtranz CX-100 vehicles. One additional CX-100 vehicle was added to each tram by ADtranz’s successor, Bombardier Transportation, when each airside was rebuilt.

It’s always ashame to see a childhood elevator get ruined by modernization however it sadly happens a lot. Great videos of these btw. I had fun on these.

Well, even with the mod, I suspect that classic 60s/70s "airport brick" on the upper floors will stay... and that's really cool! That brick was all over many airports when I was a kid. Most places it's covered up.

I hope I can get parts. The techs told me it was long overdue but I've never asked and they were already sus when some random kid walked up. Apparently the controllers use hard drives so I guess they're somewhat PC based. Merely just a software update, they said

So what they're saying is they're still Relay Controlled but with some updates to the existing controllers? Either way, that's definitely interesting. Did they say why the mod was long overdue?

@@FloridianElevators No; the original 500 controller is still there point being. They told me there were just updating the software itself so I guess 6400NA just exists as an entire software update.
