Win is a win. Last year Kristin won almost every tournament very easily. Some people were complaining how boring it was. Now when she struggles and different women win tournaments, people still complain how they "don't win" but others lose the title. Kristin has lost tournaments in the same fashion this year, she just managed to manage her nerves this time.

Always tough to watch a player having the lead going into the final holes of a tournament and lose. I like Kristin and mistake free disc golf paid off for her but some bad luck, nerves or whatever for Silva today. Hopefully Silva can come back and win here shortly like Holyn Handley did after Worlds.
@asko2368Ай бұрын
statistically, in a long run good and bad luck gets closer and closer to the 50/50. So no point to stare bad and good luck..

@TheAeroRisingАй бұрын
I’ve never seen a player need a caddy more than this today. Could have thrown putter off every tee damn near and won. Just kept doing the ONE thing you can’t do on EVERY hole. Hopefully she learns from this.
@lukenelson1931Ай бұрын
I agree. Watching the full round, I was struck by the fact that Silva was out there by herself. I mean, Kristin was as well, and I also thought that she could have benefited from having a caddie in the early stages of the round. And to see her break down at the end, tough. What a player though, and what a putter. Cheering for you next time, Silva!
@Boucher702Ай бұрын
I disagree. silva doesn't need a caddy. she was fine without one for the whole tournament

Tough to watch FPO - clutch isn’t a word in their vocabulary other than Kristin and maybe missy. Silva 4 stroke lead with 4 to go and gives it up. Ricky 11 down on a heater cuts Gannon’s lead to three and Gannon just steps on the gas and slams the door. These chicks just fold

To be slow at finish can mean: 1. one has put too much effort before that 2. tactics one choose for the competition did not match the competition situation 3. one does not have (may be yet) qualities - physical and mental -, which are required to win a tournament,. 4. former one depends on how one copes with a competition, which is important for the competitor individually or generally (like pressure to win). So, your comment about winning/loosing does not say much.
@rv2192Ай бұрын
It is kind of unlogical and unfair - so you do not win, if you manage to play better in final moments and put pressure to your opponent with your good play? I think this is a play stategy play with opppnent nerves and also mental game and consistancy is most important to win - most of players can play good while playing with friends or low pressure rounds.
