Look at gannon's body, he turns with the disc, he is not worried about looking at the target "in shot" focusing on the proper movement instead, class act ❤

Sexton gave him some good love at the end of live coverage. Said he had the best round(till Gannon finished out) probably, considering he had the 1 bogey.

I got into this sport in like 2020-2021 and it's funny how a lot of dudes from that time aren't even competitive anymore. Gannon should go down as the goat as long as everyone is being genuine, however nostalgia is a hell of a drug

I think he’s proven a lot. I think 2023 was the year he proved he could consistently win. His first big win I think was the santa cruz masters cup in 2022 and then he was US champ like 4 months later and I did have my doubts, but he won a lot in 2023. Cause he was getting so much hype just like I’ve seen from countless other young talents and they often just overhyped. I could name a few other disc golfers easily, but no need to be mean for not living up to expectations other people put on them. Still needs a few more big wins I think, but he’s up there.

Is this course too easy for pro players?
@tadtaylor9400Ай бұрын
Yes and no, when there's no wind or weather for the most part, the place plays very easy(imo). The ropes add a good amount of difficulty but that's manageable by all means for the level of player these guys are at. I mean Presnell takes an 8, still shoots double digits, lol, place is definitely deuce or die.

This course is way too easy for top pros when the wind is down. Too many open shots and too much room. They need to make changes. There is like no scoring separation.

Watching Gannon Buhr, it’s like everyone is already just tired of it. It’s like the exact opposite of when Matty O. won last year, or when Simon got his wins in 2022. Those guys have been grinding for years and went through so many losses and put in their time, and when they won it felt so good and so right to everyone. With Gannon being 9 years old, and already doing this to everyone, it’s not like he’s doing anything wrong at all, but for him to already dominate by FAR does FEEL wrong…

@@CoffeeonKorriban LOL - I can't even pronounce epitome, never mind spell it. But, yes, Sexton comes over much better than the other two. MY issue is, I don't like the ESPN golf type commentary. I don't like the experts telling you what someone is thinking, or people saying trite things, like "he needs to be confident but play within himself." I far prefer laid back ad hoc commentary. I realize it's a personal preference.
