grains and starchy foods drove my insulin levels up...I was pre-Diabetic and then I found eating a low carb/keto way (fueling my body on ketones not glucose) saved my life. l am no longer pre-Diabetic as long as I keep my carbohydrates low and avoid grains, starch, sugar foods (incl fruit & high sugar/starchy veggies). Animals/fish/seafood and animal byproducts have saved my life.
