What happened to Wang Manyu and Chen Meng? Did they get beaten in the semis? SYS has perhaps gained a bit of extra arm power to complement her superb technique and movement.

Wang Manyu left due to getting a fever. Chen Meng left due to her foot injury.

Impressive to watch but very mechanical. Far prefer players like Truls, Samsonov, Gauzy, etc. who very between chop blocks, distance defence, fast-paced rallies at the table and bring creativity to the game.

Very true. Entertainment wise, creative players are always preferred but this is about efficiency and results.
