I 'm having a really big problem in buying a new pair of bluetooth headphones after my old true Sony's decided it was time to "go into pension". I've tried out in the last 2 weeks a Sony WH-CH720N and a pair of Beats Solo3 (wonderful sound). But both of them had the same problem (especially the Beats Solo3). The first moment I put them on I felt they were tight and after 30 minutes I had to remove them as my ears were hurting. (and I have an average sized head). They were both sent back. Back then I had the difficult and risky choice of deciding whether (because of the excellent reviews)to buy the Beats and the Final UX3000. Perhaps you can tell me if these headphones are comfortable to wear over longer periods (say on a flight)or will I be having the same problems hearing excellent sounds, on uncomfortable headphones.

Can you control media playback? E.g. long press volume down for previous song? I listen to audiobooks so this is crucial to me. On that note, is the sound profile a good fit for spoken words? Thanks

Yes you can control volume, next, previous song. Pause and play. I find it easier with gloves as compared to other touch based headphones like Sennheiser pxc550

looks like a great pair of headphones. Do you know if the earpads are replaceable? Faux leather has never lastet long for me so replaceable earpads are an important factor (for me).

The ear pads are generally easy to remove, but you would need to request a replacement from the manufacturer as they don't have replacements for direct sale.

How does it sound when ANC on?

SQ remains excellent, but there is a slight bump in the bass to my ears with ANC on.

I've got Denon BT w Apt HD does not have what I would consider consumer tuning. Sounds better with Classic Rock

Leather wrapped? Is this real leather? So not okay for vegetarians?

Final Audio wasn't 100% clear about this in their materials, but II'm pretty sure that it's some form of imitation leather.

I got a pair of these. The sound is consumer-friendly but refined. Yes, accentuated bass and a slight V-shaped sound signature. A bit of bleed into the lower mids. That's to be expected with almost any ANC over-ear can at this price range. Not bad at all. But there's a HUGE negative with these cans that are forcing me to return them: The ear cups are TINY. We're talking PUNY. Final Audio must have used a dwarf elf as its ergonomic model as there is no adult human on Earth for whom these will fit comfortably. These are not over-ear cans; they're ANC on-ears. Uncomfortable as hell. That's not what I paid for.
