If you want to do an acv rinse you can rinse with acv diluted in water. I'll make videos demonstrating the process.

So can you do a chelating rinse along with a clarifying wash on the same day?
@MichelleManuel4 жыл бұрын
A clarifying wash is very stripping. Deep condition straight after. Chelate on a separate day. Why put your hair through so much on the same day. But that's just my opinion.

Please read the links in the description. It has the most accurate information out there. The other articles on clarifying are misleading I feel.

Triclenz hair cleanser is a pharmacy clarifying shampoo it has sodium c14 olefin sulfonate but has amodimethicone in the middle of the ingredient list! It was a type of silicone which is a derived from dimethicone....but it doesn't cause any buildup like dimethicone....so it was not that bad right!!.... Give it a try girls!

Firstly this video is a blessing. 2 weeks ago I had the perfect washday ever, the shrinkage was great. But sadly since then my hair wasn't holding curls, they were clumping but zero curls. I watched your acv rinse video and did that but still no avail ( I noticed there was no itchy scalp tho) I did rice water rinses thinking that there's a protein lack but still the same. So finally I came back to this video today, watched it and clarified my hair and OH BOY! My curls are back not exactly like before but there's drastic difference!!!🥺❤️ PS : I was using WOW charcoal shampoo as clarifying shampoo but I guess it didn't work as a clarifying one for me. So used pantene today.
@MichelleManuel3 жыл бұрын
Ohhhh!!!! That's good to know! I think I want to say it again because I've gotten this question quite a bit. The wow shampoo has sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. It's a surfactant. Not a sulphate. But it's our best bet. To clarify, you have to have a sulphate in the shampoo! Only a sulphate removes a residual silicone. Silicones have built up on our hair for decades now. You can't remove a silicone in one wash! A sulphate will also adequately get rid of heavy product buildup. But if you're a cruelty free consumer in india, you have no other choice. The pantene lively clean is a clarifying shampoo available in india but I do not use or publicise brands that test their products on animals! So.... There's that.
@MichelleManuel3 жыл бұрын
Fix my curls had a sulphate shampoo, but they changed their formula after getting negative feedback from the curly community in india! It's a cruelty free brand. I wish they hadn't.

Back in the day when I shot this video, clarifying was a lesser known topic. We didn't have any cg options in India either. I made this video to create awareness, to highlight the need for clarifying shampoos in India. Now that we have options in India that are silicone free, i made an updated video. You'll find it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6Xae2SVpLFpqcU
