Anyone who has played at a high level of football knows that this is a dangerous tackle .... Can potentially break someone's leg ...

That could change the final if the referee sent off cafu

2 foot tackles are an intent to injure , always a red card ....

Crucial moment in the match. It was 0-0 and Germany had been dominating the second half and threatening to score. Jeremies was playing very well and Brazil were feeling the pressure. Cafu should have been sent off, and Germany would have probably won their 4th World Cup. They got their revenge 12 years later in Belo Horizonte. They always do.

I'm brazilian, and of course, that affects my decision, but still isn't a foul for a red card, since both of them tackled with both legs, and also Cafu touched the ball before contact. Therefore, no red card.

Also 5 times champion is only Brazil, even when it had bad years in the WC, it still had a great team. Socrates, Zico and other may not have won any cups, but still are players to be remembered. The same goes to Oliver Kahn, since he's probably the greatest gk in Germany's history (Manuel Neuer and Lehmann are close up to him, but I think he's still better).
