It's only because Hamilton is told in all songs, nothing else. All the other musicals obviously have lines in between scores - if you've found the bootleg of Hamilton, you could see there's absolutely no written words in between the songs.

Alex S. I haven't seen the musical and I'm not 100% briefed on what it's even about, I just listened to the full cast recording for the first time. But it seems like Evan has just gone through a time when he royally fucked up, and then in Words Fail he's extremely regretful and angry(?) with himself for what he did. The beginning of this song seems to indicate that he's forgiven himself, and "all I see is sky for forever" seems like he's giving himself an open future instead of placing boundaries on himself because of his past. Kind of a way of saying he's looking up instead of looking down.

I was in a really dark place when I found this musical. I couldn't sleep and it was already 3 in the morning on a school night (I have to get up at 5) but I couldn't sleep or stop crying because of all the thoughts swelling up in my head and overwhelming me. I got on my phone and started scrolling around KZbin and that's how I stumbled across it. I heard of it before but I listened to the whole soundtrack and it made me feel a lot better. It made me think about how tons of other kids my age (15+) go through the same moments and problems that I was, and that eventually I could pull through. After that I fell right to sleep and though it was only about 2 hours, it was a good sleep. This short musical really helped me and is still helping me, it reminds me that I'm not alone and that one day I can be found too :,)

This is musical is so happy yet so sad. I felt kinda depressed since I'm the type of person to take in other's problems and not give my own. This musical helped me out of that dark and brooding place, to a place, that makes me genuinely /happy/. (Think I italicized it???) I'm so glad this musical was made. Hi everyone, So I recently watched the show and by god it's amazing. The ending is very open ended or at least somewhat open ended. Evan and Zoe meet in the orchard funded by the Conner Project and talk. They're making up but not getting back together, forgiveness is given and all seems okay. It's not a perfect ending, Evan doesn't go to college just yet and the Murphy family still has to deal with the after effects of Conner's suicide, this including a major fuck up with the Conner Project. Evan talks about how, he hopes one day someone will do better than him with what seemed like a metaphor, he stated that he hoped someday a kid would climb a tree like he did but instead of letting go, he'd hold on. The song continues into the climax and the show is over with the idea that everyone is moving on. After finishing it I worked up the courage to face someone I didn't want to face for a while, a girl that disappeared from my life suddenly after I guess distancing herself away from me. I got to finally ask, why, I got my response. This show gave me courage to face my inner demons and finally come to terms with myself. Hopefully now all I'll see is sky, for forever. Thank you everyone in the Dear Evan Hansen Cast/Crew and Fandom. Thanks to this I can finally move on with my life.

I really appreciate how this musical ends because it's pretty accurate to dealing with depression. It's not something that goes away or is magically fixed by a change in circumstances. The only way to move past it is to move through it, put in the work, and have your life gradually change. At the end of the day YOU are what makes your depression change, which really drives home the idea that you are enough after all.

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE SHOW One thing I always wondered is what happened between Evans relationship with Jared and Alana. Jared is Evans cousin so I assume sooner or later they made up. Especially if he saw "Connor suicide note" and knew it was Evans and probably felt bad for him,but what about Alana did Evan ever patch things up with her? She probably apologize after seeing the damage the letter did at least I hope so. I hope all three of them made up I really liked there dynamic they had going on!

I was at a lgbt youth retreat camp, and we were talking about pride and regret. After a symbolism of collecting rocks and using that to represent our regrets, we tossed them into a lake while someone read "dear camp pride, today is going to be a good day, because today you are you, and thats enough" and two people sung this and the final time we all sang it together. I will always cherish this song and musical because of it.

I've been struggling with my mental health, hardcore, these past months, maybe even year. This musical, and this song especially, bring me to a place where I don't have to be burdened with any of that. I can sob, laugh, and sing in peace. I love this musical so damn much. I wanted to see it sometime after a surgery I had in November, but we all know how that turned out. But, you know? There's always another time. Tomorrow is never promised, but it's a new day, and I'll take it. So for now, I'll listen and consume as much of I can of the musicals I love, Dear Evan Hansen, Heather, Waitress, and others. But especially those three because.. whew.. just so much sentimental value for me, personally, and singing along and crying to it makes for a good cleasening. ♡

I've never been a real fan of Dear Evan Hansen until recently. I've been going through a lot over the past several months and I've been in a really dark place. But then, my mom got me a journal for Christmas. On the front cover is "Today is going to be a good day and here's why:". My mom told me that she listened to the Dear Evan Hansen cast album earlier this month and she thought this would be the perfect thing to help me heal. So I finally listened to the show and it's given me hope to keep going. This track is at the end of my meditation playlist as a way to get me ready for the day.

This is such a fantastic ending to a fantastic musical. It’s calm. You can just feel how overtime, Evan begins to breathe again and truly accepts himself, although there may be struggles. I feel like him saying “All I see is sky for forever,” at the end is Evan really just remembering everything and being at peace with it while also keeping the memories and the pain. Sorry, just had to say that. I love this musical with all of my heart honestly. 💙🖤

I just finished dear Evan Hansen book today and let me tell you.... The story in the book is so beautiful just like the musical I even sing the part in the book about sincerely me song😂😂. This musical has all the power of Rent, but with characters and a story I can actually connect with. This has resurrected the musical for me after years of literally horrible musicals. I hope this starts another long run of shows that are truly great shows, shows that mean something, characters and situations that you can connect to, stories that challenge you music with songs that can stand in their own. Anyone could listen to this entire CD and love every song. You don’t have to know the story. You don’t even have to know this is a show or musical. These songs stand on their own. They are so melodic, catchy, well constructed songs with lyrics that are genuine and heartfelt. They bring out such great emotions. They will have you crying when like me I didn’t even know what it was about but I felt every song in some way or another. Songs that finally brought back the power of great harmonies like rent did and Le Mis did. These are high quality songs. And like the truly great musicals EVERY song is just amazing. I hope the crap that has been churned out for years (at least everything after Wicked) is over. I’m sorry but the Hamilton worship is insane. Musicals were so bad for so long that people think it’s actually good. To me this makes Hamilton look like it really is, not worth the price of a movie ticket. This is special. And now I think I will go and find out what it’s about, lol
