Never in my life thought I'd see this again! I saw the show twice in the West End. It was so majestic and powerful. Paige and Korberg were absolutely wonderful.

I had the great opportunity of seeing the original cast in London twice! It was the most amazing show. We had the second row the second time. Wow! Simply the best. It brought us all to tears. We were floating out of the Prince Edward Theatre. Thanks for posting. Great memories of my first visit to England at the age of 19 years old. :)

Elaine Paige, Tommy Korberg and the rest of the songs (as featured in this video) can be found on the original concept album (with the added bonus of Barbara Dixon). I believe ITunes has it. Please make sure you choose the Black Album with the White chess board squares (askew) in the upper right hand corner. Personally, it's my favorite version of this musical.

i already got it on cd thank you very much. i was talking about the live performance of it! the ones i need/looking for is the concert version in 86(not 2009 in london i have that too),the complete chess album with danish cast 2002 tour they sing in english before they sang it their langue & chess the demo recording. i hope this helps.

There is a full video of the full show recorded at the Prince Edward theatre but no asking about it. Some facts recorded by the theatre in house camera soundboard on full video is very good. Just facts I know about this video.

i love the little melody that can be heard the first 40 sec, whilst hearing the notes i sing the words to my self "but he's a fine player...but he's a fine player"

The sound quality is so much better on here. I know the full version is here on KZbin, but the sound on that is bad. Do you have the full version with this better sound?

There is a full version on KZbin, but the sound quality on that one is terrible. It’s the same thing, but again, the sound is bad.
