Hi Tim, Thanks so much for the great tutorials. They persuaded me to buy it. I used musescore before, however it is really difficult to get the layout how i want. Finale has that side down. I just wondered, as you touched on the subject in this video, could you do a tutorial on creating exercises (like the flam one in the video) and layout features of finale. That would be greatly appreciated. Your work is awesome and an inspiration. All the best and greets from Germany 😊 G 🥁😄

Thanks for the help. So you know, you only have to single click for articulation short cut. At least it works that way on the Mac.

Are there any plug ins available that will add drum beats that look correct and playback is also correct? I could create a file with all the standard beats and cut and paste into different files but it would be even easier to have a plug in do this. I also use Transcribe. Great program. I used to use mini discs for transcriptions because you could add track marks whoever you wanted them. I would add a track mark for each measure. Transcribe is way better because you can loop, slow things down and have it displayed on your screen always visible and easily accessible. You can also name markers to easily keep track of where you are in the song.

I thought I would comment on the newest video concerning finale make music 27 and the email I received 10 minutes ago with extensive money off But I don't fit the criteria and at $600 which is equal to the best part of a thousand New Zealand dollars is the exact reason I bought dorico from Steinberg and notion from PreSonus. That's your prerogative but you never have a sale for the average Joe on the streets It's always for students or people like that. I have wanted finale for many many years but you never have a sale and I have taken my money elsewhere. I purchased FL studio bitwig 4 komplete 13 bundle and various other bits and pieces because they have all been on sale that is affordable for me as a 60s child with a limited income but I enjoy making music at home non commercial and non professional But it would seem that you do not cater for people to fall into the latter category and there are many of them global like myself Who like finale but cannot afford $600 in one hit but you never have a sale for the average joe. Just saying
