Just starting looking into forestry and am completely amazed by this. I'm a truck driver that lives just a few hours away from you and am thinking of selling firewood on the side. Thanks for posting this video, looking forward to going threw your other ones.

Your walking through the logs now with the new machine. I’m surprised how quiet it is. I’ll hush now. Be safe out there and GOD BLESS you and your family and the crew Amen 🙏.

One of the sawmills I worked in we had a circle saw like that I’ve seen the teeth fly out of it and go through the roof like bullets. She’s got plenty of power to seems like.

And to think a year a go the ol' Barko was just getting back up and running from the "incident." Congrats on the new slasher, John.

Thanks for the video of the new machine. Watching that makes me wonder have you ever hit the saw with heel before? Looks like it could be easy to do if you are not paying attention.

Does harvesting wood in the winter as opposed to summer make any difference in the quality of the wood?

What kind of saw is that and please tell me you can run it at a 9 foot preset because if so I just found a way to make life easier around our post mill

Is that decent perduction? Where those logs for peelers? And is that chipper setting next to you making paper chips or hog fuel? 🤔 I run chipper over in Northern California, just wondering.

The amount of tress chipped seems like such a waste. I would kill to have all that firewood for my firewood business. All the loggers chip now and it's hard to get firewood logs. Is the chip market strong? And what is the end use for all those chips.
@travisdavis39744 жыл бұрын
Isn't burning wood a waste
@bozzaa4 жыл бұрын
How is burning the crap wood that is no good for milling into lumber a waste? Allot of times the chips are burned for electricity anyway. That's why I asked what the end use for the chips is in his area. In NH they chip everything now and send them to electrical generation plants. It's hard to get firewood logs anymore. It's a better use and more efficient for firewood for people's homes.
