I am so glad to see AEG's coming back into the hobby. I know the Stampede was one of my first power fantasy blasters a lot of us had back in the day. Trying to mod them before Flywheelers were the norm. I know the hobby has been stagnant for a while with either springer primary or fly wheeler. I'm hoping we see more innovation especially going forward into the new year.

i was incredibly surprized by how powerful this is. I even decided to convert the FPS into Joules to get a comparison to airsoft (my main combat sport these days) and i was shocked that it was sustainably hitting 2.5 to 3 Joules

Definitely forgot about these sort of blasters even though I held on to a stampede just for the mod potential. Kinda hope *if* we ever get a 40k Bolter from nerf they go with AEB mega to give it the size, sound and recoil it'd deserve.

They're definitely being made and 300fps ones have been made. They're just expensive. Sweetheart storm plus is the best one out atm. 8-12dps 300fps

This very much is a modernised M3A1 grease gun (with a MP40 barrel nut but anyway) and it looks awesome, I generally wonder whether AEB's will replace flywheel blasters, seems like there's hardly any downsides to it.

The acorn scar is pretty good at stabilizing darts using air channeling instead of ridges or bearings, its pretty damn good.

another upside is that these hopefully won't wood chipper darts like flywheels. I built a woozi 2 years ago and fired about three mags and I'm still vacuuming up dart confetti today 💀

I bought one of these and it is not kind to darts. When it jams the procedure is basically to remove the mag and fire the blaster until all the little bits of dart come out one piece at a time

It even has a similar fire reate to the M3 grease gun (according to Enlisted, a WW2 squad based first person shooter game. I reccomend getting it, it is free)

Dart Zone will stick with flywheels. Simpler and cheaper to mass produced. AEB whoever make it., the price will be high. There is one cheap AEB BK-01 but its very unreliable mediocre build.
