You garden! Me too. The one thing I can pass on is that a garden is basically a bunch of weeds with benefits. Some smell good-I call them herbs- some make veggies that you can eat if you beat the critters to them, and some are mystery visitors that come from??? but if there is room and they are nice to you, they can stay. And you say it was all planned just the way it happened. Viola - a garden.

I haven't been on social media in while, so happy to see a new video. Good to hear that the burn was the only negative in the last month or so. I have vision issues thus have had many burns...hence the existence of my Aloe plant (one of the few I cannot kill with kindness or neglect) for recovering from my "errors". Those baby chicks were darn cute. I know nothing about birds, but maybe frequent human-to-chick handling/playing/supplying treats might make them friendlier adults? However nothing is cuter than having one's SO photo-bomb one's video!

Sorry about your burns. When I was 14, I was taking a pan of macaroni (and boiling water) to the sink to drain the water. One of the handles broke. Pan falls from my hands ... boiling water and macaroni all over my lower legs and feet AND the floor. I went to the shower and ran cool water on my legs and feet for about an hour. I did NOT go to school the next day since I couldn't put my shoes on. I have little scars from it, but they aren't bad.

Happy belated birthday! You look so good. The summer has been good to you. I'm going to have my right hip replaced on the 12th. Haven't been able to walk for 3 years all because of CoVid. I sure hope this new hip will be alright, I have missed going outside and working in my yard. Oh, I turned 66 on May 30th. Well, I guess that's all. Be healthy and happy.

Hi Maggie and Zak!! Glad to see you back. So sorry about your burn. I spilled a whole big pot of pasta down my front a few years ago. Ended up in the ER. The next time you are at the doctor, ask for a prescription of Silvadine burn cream. Glad your garden is doing well. We just canned 8 pints of whole kernel corn from the garden. We've also done green beans and pickles. My darn squash plants died on me. I made Eggplant Parmesian with Egg plant from the garden. The chickens are apparently getting to my red tomatoes before I do. So we need that to stop. LOL Can't wait to hear more. I'll be going out of town this coming week to work on my moms estate stuff. Who knew it was so hard to get an auctioneer? So it looks like garage sales, which are time consuming. And it's hot as Hell here in Oklahoma right now, so that doesn't help much.

Howdy, good to see you 🙂. I’m gardening also and trying to correct over nitrogen-ing my phosphorus loving plants😬. As a result I have very tall tomato plants with no tomatoes. I landed in the hospital a week ago after suddenly and out of nowhere felt a twinge that took the pain from a scale of twinge to 100 in 5 minutes tops. Turns out, I had my very first 2.3 centimeter kidney stone😵‍💫. I spent 2 days spaced out on Dilaudid until it passed. I am now in deep fear because the twinges have returned, but none of the aftermath thus far. My Dr. told me that kidney and gall stones are common with ileostomy patients. I’m guzzling triple the amount of water now. Keep having fun in the garden…that’s what I am doing now that I have a greenhouse. With it I can extend my Michigan garden season until November after the first frost. I housed it with berries, grapevines, watermelon and cantaloupe. All are doing awesome. The poor birdies and squirrels aren’t too 😊. I will end this now that I have written 10 chapters. Bye for now, your ostomate, Que.

Great to see ya again. How did the chicks do with the original adults? Doesn't always work well. I use a pot to steep tea and cool before putting in glass. Some are only meant to serve or store being to thin to handle expansion from heat. So glad you are feeling better. Tile looks great. Good time to work on the house before fall arrives. You look much healthier. So glad life is looking up. Now I know why the wait, you been busy lady. Happy belated birthday. Thanks and looking forward to the next video.

When my daughter worked at a restaurant she got boiling water splashed on her stomach and we took her to urgent care because it was blistering so bad and they scrubbed it and peeled all the skin off so it wouldn’t scar so fingers crossed you’re all good

We have one Buff left. They are such gentle chickens. We have 3 Easter Eggers which are not friendly and they belong to my daughter-in-law. To me their eggs are more blue and smaller. I cannot stand Roosters. I am glad to catch up with you all.

Three rooms done, about 4 more to go 🥺 Going to my GI doctor in couple of weeks possibly going to set up date for my first colonoscopy since my ileostomy surgery 2 yrs ago. While colon is not connected since it is still there I do need to have it checked. Im a bit anxious about that as I pray there is nothing going on with it. I think of your positive attitude and it helps get me through my health issues. I thank you very much Maggie for sharing your story. Sending love to you and Zak and of course your “pups”. I got a 2nd degree burn on my thigh from pouring tea. I went to the burn unit a week later (my skin was peeling) and they suggested Silvadene. It healed relatively quickly and didn't leave a bad scar.

I have no love for roosters. I was attacked by a neighbor’s rooster in late February and after a few swats from my hiking stick and a kick in the rear, he took off and I was able to get away with two spur wounds. They really hurt!!! It took a month for the pain to go away.

Hey Maggie, glad you're doing okay. I almost checked in, but decided to wait for you to decide when you were ready to come back. It's been a stressful few weeks here. My mom is dealing with family/legal drama surrounding my grandma's estate, and I've been dealing with a nightmare boss who has wanted me gone and tried to get rid of me since she took over a year ago. No idea why, but she made one final, very obvious move last night, and I immediately called in and quit, then let her boss in on what she put me through and why everyone else has been quitting, all their metrics are crashed, etc. Mom and I celebrated with Dairy Queen. So, yeah I need a new job, but I was already looking and my stress level is down to basically zero.

I got burned with coffee years ago, somebody left the coffee pot cord laying across the stove and I went to get something out of the oven and opened the door, the scar on my calf went away in about 10 years. Hope yours goes away soon.

The glass needs to be tempered glass, like Pyrex. Regular glass can shatter from boiling water. Hope you're all right now.

glad all is ok your video on injections was so good and using an icepack helped a lot my mom always warned me about glass exploding and had it happen so now i put ice in it fist your poor leg

Thanks Being chronically ill brings so much anxiety I’m already on anxiety medication but was thinking of maybe switching it makes me so foggy and tired but I know they all have side effects. I’ll have to watch your other video on what side effects you have on these. I also have some strange thing where I have issues with dehydration on any and every medicine I try to take. Hope your summer stays busy and fun!
