The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition resurfaces ties that date back to the development of the first-generation Camaro. Panther, the original code name for the program that became Camaro in the 1960s, provided inspiration for the Chevrolet Performance Design Studio’s efforts to cement the sixth generation of the car in history.
“We found it fitting for this Collector’s Edition Camaro to officially recognize the significance of the original code name and share it with Camaro enthusiasts,” said Rich Scheer, design director, Chevrolet Performance. “Of course, the name ‘Panther’ influenced the colors used, Panther Black Metallic for SS and Panther Matte Black for ZL1.”
The Collector’s Edition equips LT/RS, LT1 and SS trims with a new Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, Satin Black accent stripes, 20-inch Satin Black or optional Polished Forged Wheels, the front splitter from the 1LE package and coupes receive the rear spoiler from the ZL1 package.

Beautiful, You both put it together nicely. Congratulations ! I LOP my 2SS with those footwell lighting too. Just one suggestion, I have. You could have done. The upgrade rear bumper defusser with the larger side protector to eliminate the guards and enclosed surround of the tail pipes that match the side rockers. If you like that look.

Absolutely gorgeous! Love that color! And no snow yet, you can drive it without dealing with road salt. Here in Finland, we’ve had snow on the ground since early November. Saw someone driving a late model Camaro SS here recently. No way would I drive a car that cost double the cost in the USA on road salt here. Definitely stored in Winter.

Nice! Picked up a 2023 1SS convertible in October, really liking it, red tint coat, forged wheels, magna ride, recaros, 6 speed, bi modal exhaust, all the suede/alcantara shifter/steering, knee and door pads, just breaking it in now

I learned how to drive in the canyons in Southern California. I’m a manual. That’s my tranny of choice. But I lost the coin toss and Andy got his automatic. One day I’ll get him on board. Not everyone grew up learning how to drive a 6 speed. It’s all about where you are comfortable. 💋🦇

No one gonna steal those wheels. I do like that color and the flake is awesome up close. The satin black splitter and skirts look good. Red seat inserts are nice. Trunk can hold a nice pair of 10s.

It’s not a rock guard . The ZL1 has wider tires so it works as a fender flare/ extension to make it road legal .

They are GM parts, so try a dealership and GM parts direct.com of that doesn’t pan out try scrap yards💋🦇

I have the shock and steel edition 23 2 SS and footwell color match is an option. I just added the RBG after market lighting for that and it works perfectly with the spectrum lights. Congrats on your new car! I also added zl1 1 LE ground effects and the high wing. :)) A couple things, I would install a KNN cold air intake which will give you 5 more HP and it sounds great plus an oil catch can from BBK to prevent oil from entering the valves. GM didn't give you the red stitching on the steering wheel to match the rest of the red interior.

ABSOLUTELY a beautiful car. Mine is a 2023 SS 1LE. Not to be a downer but with my OCD twitch going on is the driver side CAMARO letters not level? Looks like the right side is higher. The passenger side looks spot on. The interior red accents really pop.

Hello I have the convertible 2ss 2018..I love the car but with that being said everything is more the shocks are expensive the brakes are more..its great to hve the top trim but mann..u pay way more..I hve nightfall grey paint costly..lol..but ur car looks nice im.in California gotta hve convertible and I just got wind deflector

Let me get this straight. You put some aftermarket stuff & ZL1 things on this SSand you’re saying that’s the way it was intended to be ??? Kinda ruined the collector addition with aftermarket stuff . Or did I get this wrong ??

There is not one aftermarket part of this car besides the rear rock guards from ZL1 add ons! Everything on this car according to GM, GM archives, and the Camaro Lead Designer has stated that all of the parts on my car were intended to be part of the collectors edition but due to part restrictions did not make the Cuz and we have documentation that states all these parts were suppose to be part of the package 📦 but at the last minute got taken off due to supply! This car is the only collectors edition out there with all the parts from GM that were suppose to part of the package plus we know the color is not suppose to be a Tintcoat as it’s a tri coat black diamond color they used on Caddy back in 2014
