Nothing wrong with a tiny stove BUT something you may not be thinking about is you have to feed the stove way more often...using smaller kindling is fine but it just burns a lot faster so be prepared to be feeding that thing more often you you think you will thats all...Having the electric heat is great when it works but being offgrid means you have to be self reliant so if the enteric fails not that tiny stove is your lifeline, picture 6' of snow, cant drive an where sitting in front of the tiny stove hoping not to die...You may find yourself just being outside instead sitting in front of a bonfire you may by dumping fuel on your woodpile lol Im sure the stove works fine but I wouldn't rely on it with my life...Once that snow hits in Maine you better have a backup to your backup and a plan D and E to follow...

Cutting kindling is easy, get two 15/14in tyres no rims, stack them, tie together, then put logs in and just waste them with an axe, the tyres hold the logs still & standing upright. Can even leave one tyre mounted to a steel rim, flip it and use it on the bottom as a solid base for log to sit on

You guys do realize that if you start the vehicle you have that little air compressor plugged into and leave the vehicle idling while your using the compressor it puts more power to the compressor and it will pump the tire up way faster and put more air in the tire then it will without the vehicle running next time you use it plug it into the vehicles auxiliary power port with the vehicle shut off turn the compressor on and then start the vehicle and you'll literally hear it speed up and put out more air pressure I've had the same cheap a## $20 slime brand portable air compressor for 2yrs that still works great it'll pump up my 31in truck tires from 10psi to 40psi with it plugged into a running vehicle in like 10-15mins by the way with that stove it's not gonna keep a very big cabin warm in the winter as the Cub is designed for spaces from 100-200 sq ft. & The Grizzly like the one you bought is designed to heat up to 200-400 sq ft so a 12x40 cabin would be 480sq ft which is 80 square feet more then what that stove is designed for so unless you bought a tiny 300 to 400sq ft cabin then that stove isn't gonna cut it and even then if it's a 350-400sq ft cabin it's gonna struggle to keep it warm in the winter especially in Maine where it stays pretty cold all winter long considering the average winter Temps in Maine range from 25°F in the far south of the state to less than 15°F in the northern and interior portions of the state that stove is gonna struggle to keep it warm you should have bought a propane ventless wall mount heater or saved up and bought a full-size wood stove

I’m not stove expert but I’ve put a few in my garages over time 18 inches away from a unprotected wall a foot if you use fire board other then that you’ll be good it’s perfect for not using it to be your main heat source that with the mister cool you’ll be mint also you can buy saw dust logs meant for stoves that size
