Gwent and Runeterra didn't make enough money and are no longer being updated, now somehow Hearthstone is THE most free to play friendly card game, at least among those big popular ones. Ridiculous. Also here are my stats: level 129, 3% Gameplay-Paradise achievements.

There were many, such as Elder Scrolls Legends(my favourite), i think the reason is that Hearthstone is a gold mine for Blizzard just to let it die. There were many opportunities for them to drop HS and focus on other projects, that is the reason why they keep monetizing the game and making it in f2p friendly.

Standard packs are much more valuable for Tavern Brawl rewards as they can be saved up for the next expansion and help get a full collection day 1. Latest expansion packs cannot and are objectively worse for people who have the majority of the expansions cards by the end of the expansion.

@@valerielusa8000 if you have all the commons and rares from an expansion (which is pretty hard to NOT have by the end of the expansion, even if f2p), then it’s objectively worse. Most players just don’t think ahead and save up standard packs though. The old system was actually BETTER for f2p players so they could get more new cards quicker for upcoming expansions.

I am currently at level 267 on the rewards track (pass purchased, Paradise achievements at 1%), though I expect to reach 282 by november 5th. This is the first time since Nathria I have'nt reached lvl 400 through afk farming. Farming is still possible, but I don't think afk is an accurate description of it any longer! But I knew afk farming was going to be removed at some point, so over the last 2-3 years I have done my best to save as much gold and dust as I could. I have managed to save up a fair amount of resources, I currently have 50 k gold and 88 k dust, plus 50 k dust in duplicates (Never press the button!). I belive I should be able to more or less complete the collection of each expansion with out much more than a 2 k net loss from my buffer each set. So unless they increase the number of expansions per year to 4 (I sincerly hope they do NOT do this, as I think it would be catastrophic for the game) I should be able to last for about 8 years. With the direction Hearthstone is heading, it seems that the game might not surive for that long, but one can hope! Keep up the great work, Freedom for Ukraine!

I used to actively try to complete achievements, but haven't continued doing so this year. The meta strategies have been too oppressive, making sub-optimal deck experiments less fun to play on ladder.

As of Halloween i'm level 197 without a tavern pass. Notably this season i played a lot more battlegrounds and arena, playing ranked mainly to get dailys and weeklys done. I'm at 18% in gameplay achievements. While i like the concept and art of this expansion, I think we'll see moainly the same or at least a similar meta for a bit unless the devs intervene.

Level 151 with Tavern Pass, 14% Paradise Achievements. I have played HS for 8 years. These days I only play to finish quests and get legend so the rewards track level only depend on how fast I am able to hit legend. But I still enjoy HS. I am a long time premium player so I could be biased, but I do think the balance and economy HS is completely fine. I get one prepurchase bundle and the tavern pass every expansion. I am able to play whatever I want and have a lot of excess coin+dust. I picked up MTGA in recent months and guess what, both the balance and economy are god awful. Themed boards and cinematic trailers will be missed. This is very normal when we are used to getting them and they are taken away. Exact same sentiment in the Overwatch community. Blizzard really does an exceptional job on these kinds of stuff. Fun fact: I hit a jackpot with the packs during Perils of Paradise and reached 100% collection within like 150 packs.

F2P Lvl 95 42% but the I crafted a lot of rouge cards. Haven't played at all this expansion until this brawl. Personally I loved the brawl. 300gold for 2 cards packs ain't a big cost 100 extra for the chance to make a profit. As well as getting to try my new cards. I got one 5 wins and played maybe 4 runs. Looking forward to the new expansion!

1. I completed 8% of the gameplay achievements for Perils in Paradise and got to Level 170 on the Rewards Track, no purchased Tavern Pass. Certainly better than I thought I'd do since I REALLY didn't like the meta in Perils. I would probably be higher tho on the Track if they hadn't nerfed the AFK grind so hard for those of us who love to play Solo Adventures and Mercenaries to grind it out. I get that they did it to curtail bots, but still sucks as I think a lot of F2P players will be missing all that additional Gold going into Dark Beyond 2. As for the change to the Rewards Track, its arguibly an improvement. Those first few levels that gave you 50 Gold barely mattered. So effectively doubling that value by turning them into Dark Beyond Packs is actually quite nice. For F2P players that's less Gold spent on buying packs and for Paying Players and/or Content Creators it means more Dust to experiment with more cards. Not sure how I feel about them reverting Quests again tho. It feels like an attempt to make the game grindier again after they just gave us a W with the aformentioned packs And I 100% agree on the Signatures. While I do think the bundles they come in are hillariously overpriced, the artwork is so gorgeous I can see why people would want them. Makes me kinda wish they would go back and redo the old March of The Lich King Signatures. They STILL look like trash tbh. 3. As for how I feel about the expansion itself, I'm excited. Not hyped exactly, but definetly much more hopeful and am anticipating this expansion more than the *last 3 combined* Great theme, amazing artwork, generally fun cards & ideas. It won't "stop" the downward trend Hearthstone has been on the past year, but its definetly a *great* first step.

The most important packs are the ones I'll hopefully be farming from noobs in the Tavern Brawl event today. I am free2play, but I have any Whizbang or Paradise card I want, and 30 Tavern Tickets because I don't play much Arena, so I'm hoping to rely on those to do decently. If players cannot Craft the Beyond cards, I wonder if paying players will have such a huge advantage, as it should be impossible to have a complete collection for this event, and they may simply not have key synergies they want. I am level 150 on the track, and my Achievement % for Paradise is 0%. There are 2 complete Achievements but I'm saving their XP for the next expansion. As for the rest, they weren't very applicable to what I was playing, I guess.

Gameplay - Paradise: 9% Reward Track: 144 I wanted to play more but then Renathal was enabled and the only fun deck to me (Espionage Tess Rogue) got outvalued by the uncreative meta control decks that danehearth's rogue deck was designed to counter. It's simple. Don't miss activities and collect rewards. Play with pleasure and don't grind. Hearthstone is a generous game, but the reward is distributed throughout the expansion phase. In a few months, you will be able to significantly expand your collection. But you should understand that a new player needs more time than a regular player to collect cards, including those from previous expansions. In this case, you should focus on collecting cards from new sets. In 4 months, the 3 oldest expansions (Festival, Titans, Badlands) will leave the standard format. There is no point in investing resources in these packs.

@@TheMrYadrian You can play in the format or mode that you like best. Arena can give you the most resources but you need skill. The Standard meta is more dynamic and constantly changing. In Wild, many decks are very expensive, but they can be relevant for a long time. Some players claim that this is the cheapest way to play, but in my opinion this format is more difficult for a beginner. You should choose Wild or Standard. If you get tired of Standard or Wild, you can play Battlegrounds. For the time spent in the mode, you will receive XP for the Rewards Track. Personally, I play mostly Standard this season and sometimes Battlegrounds.
