I see you are getting comments about not painting the new tile cart... I started to comment on it while it was in the shop about doing an.... "Oklahoma Overhaul" that means to take it apart, paint it, and put it back together... Actually a "Oklahoma Overhaul" is what used car dealers would supposedly do back in the day to an engine to pass off a car with a quick sale. Paint doesn't make any money, you're right on that. It does, however, show professionalism at up keep and maintaining you equipment. ​@@DirtPerfect The layman isnt able to judge the quality of a contractors work, so they often judge a contractor by how presentable he keeps his equipment because thats the only thing they can get a general impression from.. your kit doesnt have to be new and shiny, but at least make it appear you care.

I love how this DP episode started off with a spectacular view from the bucket rotating around to change buckets. The new tile trailer is definitely a huge asset laying new tile. Laying "old school" digging shows the 650J tile plow is definitely better than digging a trench and it's way faster. With tile season coming up I sure hupe you go back to that method of laying tile. One thing for sure, Arron wearing white gloves had to make it easier seeing his hand gestures while he's directing Mike where to dig and where to stop.

Morning DP 7am Tuesday 7/3/23 here in Adelaide another quality episode ,that quickhitch saves a lot of time as an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Fitter in the early 70,s one of our jobs was to change buckets on machines when it required pulling pins manually ,the OPERATORS weren't allowed to do it ,it was a state government department very heavily unionised ,but it was a trip out of the workshop always enjoyed .Tile Pipe trailer is an obvious a winner ,things don't need to be new to work well , Cheers Kym Adelaide

That low spot looks like a perfect spot for a "blind inlet". Using clean rock instead of a riser. You can farm right through them.

The brake gave maximum resistance in a short space of time, as Aaron found out 😵🤣🤦‍♂️ 200 is an impressive machine, quick hitch does save time changing buckets. Aaron is a hoot to watch, an endless supply of mockery and laughs in equal measures!!! Matt did some fine fabricobbling on the pipes, he is a great help for you Mike 👍💪

The 200 is quick and smooth operating. On a rainy day and no outside work that is when you paint the tile cart so it will be nicer looking to go with the rest of the equipment thanks for the video

I could watch yall work all day, something about heavy equipment I love. I did a little work on the farm with dozens and Trackhoes. But nothing compared to your work. It got by is all also enjoy when Aaron is around he is a character. I started welding class this year because of seeing him weld. All ways something I wanted to learn. I tried to weld on the farm but when you have a uncle who is really great. No need it dobbing welds lol . If you ever go live from the field I believe I could watch all day. Today, if you are on a farm knowing how to weld, is almost a requirement. Was at my nephew's farm. There were at one time 4 fellow farmers and one person just learning present. They were trying out my nephew's new welding helmet. It had a feature maybe called true light. Don't quote me. They all thought it worked great.

Would have been so much easier with the tile plough, but their again you wouldn't have been able to see what the 200 could do in working dirt. The crawler and working option is such a good idea, you can see with this just how useful it is. I have no doubt it won't be long before if becomes standard in all machines. Nice to see MBTS and NYA playing nicely.🤗

You should get wheels and tires like on the back of the that Deere tractor for the tile cart so when the fields are really muddy you won’t lose it. An old LGP Crawler might be the optimal tow vehicle for the cart 🤔 Too much coffee = too much thinking 😆

Need a spoon, that you can bolt on and off, attached to your bucket teeth, to give a curved bottom for the tile to sit in. MBTS and you could easily come up with something. Would greatly reduce the chance of collapsing the tile, with the bottom half of it being well supported. Thanks for the video.

In stead of the tractor, the case terminator or what's called, would have been nice to close the trench. But it's to expensive to buy for just these jobs I think, you also could brought the D4. But men you guys saved Al million hours on the farmer chriss job with the plow behind the 850j, watching you this evening in the Netherlands for only this short distance. I always watch it the next evening during cooking. Thumbs up.

Mike, when installing the tile why don't you have the cloth sock on it to keep mud from building up, Matt's riser surely needed one with the quarter size holes in it, we always you the sock on foundation drains and the new septic systems

I’ve always thought the dirt backfill around it would get into the holes and clog it. If not I’ve got some new info and a new piece of knowledge to use with my customers when I’m putting in pipe. Def one reason I enjoy your channel, not only a fellow Hoosier, but I always quite often learn while watching.

When I forget my laser I always have my trusty 4’ level…6’ is better but regardless I just throw it down in the ditch and if the bubble is touching the line it’s about .25% and half a bubble is about 1.5%-2%…that tile can be pretty flat and work just fine…I use my “eyecrometer” on occasion too but I find it goes in and out of calibration from one day to the next!..🤷🏻‍♂️

Just one of the things I was going to say. From the moment Aaron began pulling I could see a break check. Next was during DP backfilling trench he made a comment about how well the Volvo worked as moving and digging, wonder if the engineers thought about the operator trying to talk while doing the work. (Sort of like chewing gum and walking). Thought you would run the pipe under the puddle and riser on far end? Thats why you are owner/operator and I m sitting on my tail think smart alek comments!
