I don't. It's most likely gonna be terrible. It could work, but part of what makes ATLA great is the animation, so taking that away is just taking something special from the show. So the show has to replace what has been lost, which can ruin everything in the process. Trying to replace something that worked with something else that works can lead to everything else collapsing, so the creation of the show is going to be an uphill battle for the ones making it.

This is great inspiration for me because I’ll be testing soon for my 3rd Dan Black Belt. I have 7 forms to perform (1 of which involves breaking 3 boards, 1 form performed with a partner, and a bo form) and I have taken time of my own to practice them. I’m like Andy in the sense that I like to be explosive and focus on the aesthetics, but after having them reviewed by a Master, he just picked my forms apart and helped me find details I needed to work on. Congrats DMah for the win and thank you for the inspiration. Keep kicking!!

I have an idea on what your guys' styles of fighting Andy: You have a strong and flexible kind of style, that's why you make your tricking so hyped Daniel: Unlike Andy, you have a flowing style, and I see you as a medical style of martial arts with Tai Chi and such Brian: You have brute strength and power to scare anyone with your capeora and ripped body. You are someone that no one will mess with... 13 years of living and I believe that I can make you guys feel good.😁😁

Daniel Mah...... I just happened to run across this video when I was looking for something else and, honestly, in 2019, I was not paying attention to the Grand Championships competition yet, I knew exactly who you were, how talented you are, how impressed I have been with the work you have achieved with your colleagues in the Martial Club, and, now, to see how well you competed in the 2019 Golden Dragon Championships. I recall your feelings as a result of , I think it was your first competition in the T-1 Championships and now, I'm hearing your comments in relation to your practice for or preparation to and your superb results from competing in this particular competition. I particularly liked your comments something about...."its not really about the politics, its' not really about the medals and the trophies.....it's about the practice and ......(my words) the challenges found in the journey to get to the top. You're the man, Daniel Mah !! Keep on, keeping on !!

I don't know a lot about Kung Fu forms but there's a baseline for voting which is pretty universal. I believe the reason you did so well I because you did not rush through the forms. Every move was definitive. You looked comfortable, relaxed, and the preciseness of the technique showed through in everything you did. You controlled your weapons, didn't let them touch the floor and there was no wavering. As a judge it would be hard to dismiss that kind of performance.

Great job! May I ask out of curiosity why your weapon forms were fairly slow? I compete in Wushu, so everything’s really fast.
@malachiseerisrael86184 жыл бұрын
I tournamented in wushu also and I never seen this type of thing so few competitors,so few observers and even more strange he was competing alone was this a competition or a testing,hahaha more is here than meets the eye.
@conarykao4 жыл бұрын
Malachi Seer Israel People normally do compete by themselves against other people using the same weapon, though. That happened here, I was just asking why his form was so slow.
@malachiseerisrael86184 жыл бұрын
@@conarykao yes I did myself in a certain fighting category,I compeated in duelies San shou open hand and weapons with 2 and up to 9 apponents at a time I choreographed many fights I completed in conceptual and traditional styles,but either interest in wushu has competely been lost or he wasn't in a tournament he was merely testing to get confirmation those judges look for proper breathing control and power and system perfection I know what i.m talking about I come from Bruce Lee's Jeet June do martial arts academy wing Chun is also my leneage,wushu also I trained basic Tai chi with Donnie yens mom bow sim mark.now been learning capoeira,i.m a mixed martial arts practitioner and teacher.
@malachiseerisrael86184 жыл бұрын
@@conarykao how about you what's your martial background,I had a few sifus in my life.
@conarykao4 жыл бұрын
Malachi Seer Israel Why do I feel like it’s absolutely full of shit. In “Duilian”, the name of the choreographed fights for wushu you mentioned, there can be a max of 3 people. There cannot be 10. So that’s a shit claim. Bruce Lee’s training academy, learning taijiquan from Donnie Yen’s mom, Wing Tsun is in your lineage, and I don’t pay much attention to capoeira, but I feel like you mentioned the guy’s name because he’s someone famous in the capoeira field. Imma need some proof. I refuse to take any JKD class. It was never meant to be a style of fighting, rather a philosophy. A *way* of fighting, not a style. Bruce made that abundantly clear in his students, yet it was misinterpreted, and now classes are just basically MMA classes. I read Bruce’s philosophy, I reflect on that, and I call it JKD, because that’s what it is. I also know Wing Tsun. Studied that as well. Wushu I’ve learned since I was 5 and a half, trained until I was probably 11, quit for 4 years, and started again until this day. My Wushu coach was the coach for the US team last year, and hopefully she will be again next year. I’ve qualified for the Wushu Championships next year, but the actual tryouts for the team are in April. So I know the philosophy of JKD, I know the basics of Wing Tsun, and I’m a wushu competitor; that’s my background in martial arts. And a little bit of kickboxing and taekwondo, not enough to count myself as a student, though. I know one or two techniques from them, but I’ve never studied them.
