Nice simple install. Dig it. About to do some of these mods on mine. Need to convert to AWD from "4wd" on a few cars, still looking for the viscous couplers. Might try to convert the old diff clutch to a coupler.

I think gearx is developing a drop in viscous that replaces the whole clutch assembly in the diff

You can probably get away with the riv nuts for a little 140 hp b20 but I’d definitely want a little more reinforcement for the carrier bearing mounts.. I welded plates to the subframe rails with stainless nuts tig welded to them.

You must have a viscous if you lock the clutches. Locking the clutches without a viscous will result in broken parts, most likely the transfer case

You need to leave the clutch pack or install a vicious. Locking the clutches without a viscous will likely result in a destroyed transfer case

O by the way you don't want a perfectly straight driveline, A perfectly straight driveline can cause bad vibrations especially in class 8 trucks, Just ask any Good Truck technician.
